Talk about #eco I had to suffer this loss with 8 wife's family fanatical cats supporters. They are as bad as ud with supporting their team. They don't trust their team as much as we don't. I said if you kick the first you will win, they laughed. By the end they are high fiveing and running around and I am hands on head nearly crying but deep down knowing only we could be that bad. God I have never hated something I love so much and hated son much. I love my wife family but tonight I really struggled.

That was the most depressing loss for the year. I can't help but think this club is cursed. 33 years of that shit and it is always the same teams that manage to pull off those wins and the teams like us who lose them.

Being a Richmond fan means you don't really have an AFL team to support.
The fact that this is my first post for weeks mirrors my complete disengagement from and disinterest in the team calling itself Richmond in the current AFL.
I'm hoping that I'll be able to get a bit stoked for the start of next season because I want to enjoy the season but this year I just stopped caring. Beat Collingwood in a dead rubber? So what ! Collapse like a deck of cards against Geelong? What's new? Beaten by Saints? didn't even register with me they were playing because I had no interest in the team calling itself Richmond. I haven't watched an entire game for two months.

best case scenario for richmond fans is that the club folds and we all get to loyalty/guilt free either quit the afl altogether or choose another team. we all know that none of us could do this while the tigers are still around because we are all too ****ing loyal despite the constant failure and depression the club dishes up.
