Raised his value for next period lol. What a way to treat your employees. Literally commoditising human beings.

It'd be hilarious if Rankine becomes the absolute star he has the potential to be & pisses off elsewhere for more coin in three years lolWell it is a business. Players need to consider this when signing contracts. Probably why Rankine signed on only for 3 years
yes, thats what players are though.Raised his value for next period lol. What a way to treat your employees. Literally commoditising human beings.
I can see it happening. It'd be hilarious if Rankine becomes the absolute star he has the potential to be & pisses off elsewhere for more coin in three years lol
They are human beings and most clubs treat them like human beings.yes, thats what players are though.
no different to any other business, they're just resources.
Garbage. Betting on a breakout year in a new position outweighing being out of contract after ****ing him on a reasonable trade request. Okay, guy.Mackie on SEN just then was pretty s**t.
Basically said they had only just moved Esava to defence and want to see if he has a good year and raises his value for the next trade period.
They don't want to play him.
s**t man management.

you must not watch much sport outside of afl. They are human beings and most clubs treat them like human beings.
How exciting would it be for him, getting to play on the mcg every second week!!!It'd be hilarious if Rankine becomes the absolute star he has the potential to be & pisses off elsewhere for more coin in three years lol
Lol.They are human beings and most clubs treat them like human beings.
All depends if he signs another contract. As it stands we should offer a nose pick next year and if they don’t like it bad luck.It could also backfire, he could have a s**t year because he's not happy and loses currency
Odd to say that. He definitely won't sign a contract if he's having a great year mid-season, but not locked in the 22, now he's seen the power of being uncontracted. Lots of talk about how you need to pay overs for a contracted player but can offer well under for uncontracted (see: Ollie Henry - source: Geelong).Basically said they had only just moved Esava to defence and want to see if he has a good year and raises his value for the next trade period.
Yea Geelong are doing the right thing by keeping him.If DeKoning breaks a leg in preseason Ratugolea starts the season at CHB for Geelong. They will keep Blicavs on the ball.
Yea they are usually good if they are uncontracted this time of year.We should have spent our time chasing someone who has played defence and isn't contracted.
The best are always in line for DFA dumpster pile, it's just how it worksYea they are usually good if they are uncontracted this time of year.
Ratugolea isn't goodYea they are usually good if they are uncontracted this time of year.
So he would've fit in well with Jonas, Clurey & McKenzie then.Ratugolea isn't good
Yeah, Geelong obviously agree with you!Ratugolea isn't good
Yep and this sentence really sticks the knife in..Some great comments from Cripps there.
On Mackies; “We allowed Cooper Stephens (Hawthorn) to go and Jordan Clark (Fremantle) last year for more opportunities..."
But doesn't really mention Tim Kelly.
Tell me, what do Kelly and Sav have in common? Hint. Stephens and Clark do not share this trait
