actually it's been addressed in the 100 other threads along the same line.
and just because it's a bay 13 thread doesn't mean it disappears.
The same could have been said of West Coast this time last year. In all honesty, it would look like Geelong should win the flag next year, great young list, proven winners. However, alot can happen between now and the presentation of the premiership cup, as we saw in years gone by with other 'premiership shoe ins'.

just read it and all it shows is he got beaten by a better player, hell even Hird and Bucks (not saying Nash is on the same level) got beaten some days so it's hardly a relevant point to make. It's also a bit rough to judge him on one game alone.

Aristotel- Judging Nash on his Collingwood game is like judging Rusling on the West Coast final.
Ha ha ha. Have a look at his debut game. He beat Varcoe hands down. 15 disposals>>> 6 disposals. He even kicked more goals than him even though he was the one playing as a defender.
Okay..Okay...I'll be sure to be on 'Nash-Watch' for season 2008.
Hopefully he can prove me and others wrong...

enough is enough, obviously essendon fans r happy with Knights and there list, i feel sorry for u guys cause this list reminds me of fitzroy, going nowhere fast, u won all ya game this year by small margins, u cant play outside of the dome, u have a sewnior core nearing the end, middle tier is avg and youre youngsters r a joke, i just dont get it really, u guys have to much red and black in ya eyes, look at it objectively, cats will go back to back nothing u can say will stop it, get used to it.

yeah geelongs list is pretty avg, how could u think of them going back to back, lol what game do u watch m8, unless we get hit by injuries how the hell will we get beaten next year, thats not arrogant thats being truthful, we have great list and one i cant see being beaten next year, geez we lost 1 game since rnd 5 with 1 sec to go without ling, rooke, bartel and selwood, what drugs u on m8.

I'm just writing down your logic from your posts. Essendon are crap infers Geelong will win back to back. That is what you said. That makes no sense unless it were a two horse race.

We have 4 players 28 or above. All of which have between 3 and 5 years remaining, that's hardly alarm bells. All of whom will be there for our next tilt at the premiership cup!
I think most of these comments about our young players are based on non-Essendon supporters who haven't seen them play... or are basing their statements on perhaps their first games.
We have a fantastic young list, we just haven't had to over expose them like other clubs. I look forward to next season.
I think Geelong supporters are getting a little ahead of themselves, there's a reason why Geelong have only won 7 flags compared with Essendon's.
It was 44 years between drinks for Geelong, just remember that.
For all you non-Essendon believers, kick us while we're down, it'll be much sweeter when us believers rub it back in... 3 years down the track!
That's what Essendon said after 2000, your fortunes can change very quickly... I was glad Geelong won in 2007, I thought the town could do with it, now that the cat is out of the bag so to speak, I've reaslied how egotistical the town is, they're clearly not Victorian! So, I look forward to Geelong falling on their ass... and when that time comes, this time next season, I'll be the first to post a thread saying... "Are Geelong just another flash in a the pan after an overachieving 2007?"
