Dunno why you guys are getting all worked up, just a praccy match. No injuries and atleast we didn't get thumped.

Lost by 6 points.
Played a good game considering we played lots of young guys, and they'll all take valuable experience from this game, fantastic signs from some of our players such as Stanton, Houli & Watson....
Not to disappointing at all, but was it close...!:(

Ah well.

Good on em for trying :thumbsu:

Played alright I would say..
although we did have a lead..that we should of kept,
but it was still a great effort to keep hanging on..

WTF happend to Lloyd?

Cant wait for RND 1! :thumbsu:

The positive thing is we were highly competitive against a top 8 side, near full strength, interstate and without a major contribution from the usual suspects.

Hopefully it was injury and report free and we can consider it a great hit out in preparation for round 1.

Great game by Stants and Houli, to lose by a kick over there without Lloyd having an impact is very pleasing, look it's easy to be disappointed but the WCE had a real dip and stood up under pressure to claim a close win which in itsself says that the WCE cannot be discounted come season proper.

Must have been a good game (even for a preseason game)
wce vs ess games usually are really good games. look forward to playing them again during the year.:thumbsu:

rofl and you can tell this by refreshing the live scores on the Essendon website?

It's a practise game people, settle.
Yes it is a practise match and lets be honest who really gives a c.rap?

But still you dont want to be up by 26 points halfway through the 3rd quarter and then lose.
