Yoda mentioned that Hams may be a chance. He must have impressed if the VFL if he is close to selection.

Thurlow did exceptionally well for Geelong on Saturday. Think Thurlow will be a good un.

Because I think we should pick kids at random and play them.

And drop one of our best players this year? Hird walks up to pig and says sorry mate you have been playing well this year mate but im gonna leave you out this week so i can hand a kid a game that doesnt really deserve it. come off it

I think its a pretty simple team change this week - Stanton, Dempsey and Ryder in for Davey, Hardingham (or Baguley) and Gumbletron (unfortunately, but the week off might be good for him with his history?). NO more sweeping changes please. 3 is more than enough thanks!

hams4watson pls

Merrett has to come back in. Leg speed and defensive pressure has been good, and with Davey out, someone needs to take over that role. Jetta won't run hard defensively.

So assuming Stanton and Dempsey are fit, that makes it 4 changes?

Out: Frogger, #34, Shocking, Punctuation, Baguley
In: Bike Rider, Hempsey, Merit, Johns, Frampton

Brisbane aren't great defensively, so we should exploit them with all of our height. Task has been good this year, but would probably benefit from a defensive role, as he's not accountable enough in matches. Taxi is a natural defender, so he can handle all of the opposition forwards on his own, which will allow Milkybar to roam with the HBs. Rat is an underrated performer, who would probably flourish in the ruck if given proper opportunity. Against Leunberger and co., should break even at least, or amass 74 hitouts, mostly to advantage. Plenty of run on the bench to use for the wings and switching play and that, and probably Nightwalker as the sub, as we know he can have a big impact on games with good run like when he chased Buddy Franklin those two times.

I'd like to see us line up like this:

FB: Milkybar - Taxi - Task Watson
HB: Swine - Hempsey - Merit
C: Windlick - Hrameri - Quadcore
HF: Poky - Uncle Buckets - Bike Rider
FF: Hellchambers - Derpiherp - Johns

Foll: Rat - Fellatio - Vacuum
Int: Hownowbrowncowlett - David Jones - Frampton - Nightwalker

I can work out everyone except the Forward pocket in Johns and the followers.

Fletch - missed him. I guess he's the out for Johns.

Stanton for NLM
Merrett for Davey
Ryder for Gumby
Dempsey for Hardingham

Harsh on Gumby and Hardingham but Ryder/Crameri and Fletcher/Baguley are ahead of those two in their respective positions. For now anyway.

B: Fletcher Carlisle Baguley
HB: Dempsey Hooker Hibberd
C: Stanton Watson Zaharakis
HF: Ryder Crameri Kommer
FF: Winderlich Hurley Merrett
R: Bellchambers Hocking Heppell
Int: Howlett Myers Goddard
S: Melksham

Tempted to play Goddard as the sub but that might be seen as a bit disrespectful to Bris.

If Stanton doesn't make it then Melksham to start and Kav as sub.

If Dempsey doesn't make it then Hardingham stays in.
