Everyone put their head over it

it was a final...and tonight, unlike last week (for the most part, anyway), when it was their turn to put their head over it, they did. the wind especially called for it and made it so much harder, with unpredictable ball flight, not ONCE did i see one of our boys shirk a contest or not put their head over the ball. others might disagree, and there is still plenty of room for improvement (which is great after a 9 goal win), but if we can replicate that next week, we are a long way towards winning, especially when you consider that st kilda also have a "twin tower" forward line like brown/bradshaw in riewoldt/koschitzke. we are a massive show next week if we bring the same application we did tonight.

It will all depend on our start, for us the premiership quarter is the first quarter and if our intensity is up and we are even or ahead at quarter time we will have a huge chance, they just have to tackle and take clean possesion in tight contests.

Another 4 quarter effort like tonight we have winning by atleast 2-3 goals against the saints. It might be the other way if the saints get a decent lead as their high posssesion and clamp down football is very very hard to score against.
