i was reading today the Matt Ryan did 7.8 kms during the Germany friendly.. i seriously cannot believe it - thats full on for a keeper!

on another note, is he tall enough to be world class?
Yes. Would get a game for Liverpool easily, and possibly Arsenal.

yep hes pretty good no doubt,

but i could get a game for liverpool or arsenal between the sticks!

and mignolet thinks he deserves to be first choice for Belguim! pur-lease. Thibalt says hello...

i dont doubt Ryans quality, just think he has to do things harder because of his lack of wing span. I mean hes only 180cm, not even 6ft

needs to have exceptional positioning and reflex, i guess the taller guys can get away with a little more

Burnley cost half of what Erik Lamela cost to Tottenham haha

Talking best players in the EPL. Christian Eriksen has become a star for Spurs. A lowly £11 pounds and has now turned into one of the PL's best. Would be hard pressed for most avid pundits to leave him out of an EPL team of the season. Even if it were a bench spot

It's not uncommon.
Keepers are known for covering the defensive line. Hugo Lloris is one of the best in the world for doing this.

Don't think the Scouse can make up the 7 points in 4th, but it'll be interesting to see whether Spurs or Liverpool get Europa League. Who won the League Cup?

No, Loonerty is definitely not a band wagoner
Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea supporters in Australia. (I understand there's many people who chose City because they wanted to hate on United)
It's like there's only 5 teams in the league. Everyone has the same excuse "Oh my grandad supported them" or something of that ilk.
Nobody ever says "I chose them because I wanted to support a team who can win the league, or be in champions league". I'd respect that significantly more.

I support United because they won the first ever game of soccer I watched on TV (it was on SBS when I was 4/5)

I guess it's hard to accuse somebody of age 4/5 of bandwaggoning*.
*heh, probably a Seahawks fan too

That is the problem wqith soccer in europe.. The same teams win again and again. The supporters of teams that will never do anything (not their fault they just don't have the resources) are REAL supporters.

It's amazing isn't it?
Look at the Bulldogs, no money, no experience (except Boyd and Murphy) and they're killing it.
That's what I love about AFL, you can win regardless of how well off your club is.

And im not sure how Liverpool supporters can be labelled as bandwagoners considering they haven't won a title since 1990...
They're a team with money, they have a massive following, and you see their shirts all over the streets of any main city in Australia.
Most people I know jumped on them in 2005.
Sad.

I could bag that lot for days ;)
