Loved him when we had him at Williams but since has moved to merc is channeling Lewis levels of ego and self aggrandisement. Flog.

Yep, George just didn't get time in front of the microphone because Williams being so far off the pace made him/them largely irrelevant, but you only need to look at his actions post his crash with Bottas in Imola 2021 to see he has been full of himself for a whileHe had that at Williams as well.
Jeez people are really going in on a guy for a pretty nothing comment, he is one of the most talented drivers on the grid and spent 3 years in a completely uncompetitive car. Not surprised he felt that way.
Man maybe those people should stop following F1 because you could say the same about most of the grid. Go watch his reaction to his first points in Williams, seemed like a caring kid who finally got some reward for years of effort.People are going in on his latest comment, not a one off comment. He exudes a strong sense of self-entitlement.
The 2009 McLaren was a shitbox (and Brawn were dominant in the first half of that season) and the 2013 Mercedes wasn't a world beater either.
Plenty of pundits wrote him off with his surprise shift to Mercedes, a team that at the time was well behind McLaren.
He had that at Williams as well.

IDK if I've just become so good at tuning out Hamilton related news that I haven't seen/heard too much out of him, but it is beginning to feel like Russell is beginning to outdo Lewis in saying flog-ish things this year
Some nice revisionist history going on here.Nope.
09 McL finished 3rd in constructers albeit a ways behind Brawn and Red Bull. Still the car won races that year. Hardly a shitbox middling vehicle.
Oh no, a driver asking to retire the car.and more recently....
" retire the car" Spain 2022
Oh no, a driver asking to retire the car.
Shock horror, lets ban him for life.

Yep we finished 3rd in the constructors, but Red Bull in 2nd had double our amount of points.
Lewis won 2 races / 4 podiums, Kovalainen was nowhere near it, Lewis scored double his points, with best result being 1 fourth. I think you will find the results had a lot more to do with the driver than the car. It was a shitbox, and pretty much in the same position Mercedes is now.
How did Alonso enhance his reputation at McLaren the second time around ?Nope. Wrong. Not a shitbox
But theres radio silence on here when Max does itHe wanted to retire because he was at the back.
Except he has damage when he wants to do it, not because the car sucksBut theres radio silence on here when Max does it

Has Vettels reputation been enhanced driving the Aston Martin at the back of the grid ?
Why on earth do any of you care what his attitude is like? The guys won 7 world championships, I think he's earned the right to voice when he's unimpressed.
Of course. There's not a driver alive that didn't have several flaws. It's often what makes them so great.Because some (wrongly) think he is a God......he is not nor does he behave like one.
I like to think I'm critical of Lewis when I feel he deserves it.Why do you defend Lewis's poor sulky behaviour?
