It’s definitely raining now, but had it not and they did all start on west, could be epic differing strategies and a game of chicken
But no one can explain the further 10min delay. Surely once all have their wets on, let’s go?

Yeah, it would have been beyond farcical at that point. A crash would be inevitable.

That’s on the drivers pushing it too far. It’s certainly not unsafe, and of all the races where a safety ar or even red flag can be welcomed, it’s here.

you cant claim these guys are the best around and yet protect them from every possible variable. wet weather racing has always been used to seperate the good from the great, it's why everyone loves it. maybe we should all just sit around and wait for the rain to stop.
What are the chances we have a further delayed start due to race control being pussies during the formation lapS?

the drivers dont want their hands held yet there are so many delicate rules. if you dont want to crash then drive better.

it's amazing how stupid these pricks are that they wait for it to rain heavier instead of starting when it's sprinkling to get tyres temps and move the standing water. now there's plenty of standing water and the tyres are stone cold. learnt nothing from belgium.
or take less risks/be less aggressive. If everyone drives more conservatively, there will be less crashes, and surprisingly not crashing gives you a better chance of doing well
