I mean, in sporting context the move is ****ing massive. Arguably the GOAT of the sport moving to the biggest and most well known team. Now that all the Ferrari promo stuff is coming out as we get closer to the season of course the Lewis stuff is going to be plastered everywhere.

Yep. It's Christiano Ronaldo to Manchester United, Messi to Real Madrid and LeBron James to the Lakers.
To be fair, Ham will take a good 4 or 5 races to come to terms with the Ferrari. Charles should beat Lewis in the first few races. After that though, game on.

He will in the second third of the season but by then Charles will be too far ahead. I reckon he finishes 40pts ahead of Lewis.

Arguably being the operative word.
It is a pretty generational move, finally using that word in its right context, take note draft gurus.
It actually still feels a bit surreal, like the pics of Lewis in red feel AI that it's such a foreign concept to not see him in Merc or the 2000s McLaren colours.
It's the biggest driver move since Schumacher to Ferrari but I just hope all this stays in the season build-up instead of having 2025 as the 'Lewis joins Ferrari' year. There's so many other great narratives for this season outside of that.
Yeah I understand the publicity around it, Senna to Williams in 94 was of a similar seismic change in the pre-socials time. Schumacher to Ferrari too.

I'm no Hamilton fan but he isn't totally done.
He had some cracking races in 2024 still but it was obvious to see he almost fully checked out, a combo of motivation and letting the Mercedes' struggles get to him.
He's still got it but it will be interesting to see how he copes if Charles starts strong and whether he can dig deep and bounce back, that's probably the biggest question mark as it definitely isn't around his driving ability.

Mate, you would have hated Lewis Hamilton no matter what he does.
It's sort of your thing. Just own up to it.
He's absolutely got race wins left in him, does he have enough to win championships over a (very) long season ?? I don't think so. I dont think he's got what it takes to beat his team-mate let alone Max and Co over a season.
Tell you what though, if he wins at Silverstone again that place will blow up delux.
Make sure you let Aysedasi know if Leclerc flogs him.

There's just something about seeing our most recent world drivers champion wearing scarlet red with that mincing donkey logo (even after a decade in black) 
Almost as bad as watching Kimi win the title there.
