This might be the least boring Spanish race since Rosberg crashed with Lewis 5 years ago.

Pretty boring race still, soon as Hamilton came in for the tyres there was only one result.

Mazepin 40sec's behind his teammate showing why pay drivers shouldn't be on the grid
He's a decent driver, clearly struggling on the step up. Look at his history, pay drivers are normally guys like Roy Nissany who don't win anything.

Mercedes took a gamble. Red Bull could still be leading the race if they pitted straight away, we know how difficult it is to overtake if the cars are similar enough in pace. Hamilton just way too good and Mercedes' strategy paid off.

Solid from Leclerc today too, although we've barely seen him

Ferrari's been quicker than McLaren's. Luckily for Dan it was a track where you can't overtake

Mercedes still a long way ahead of Red Bull, Red Bull closer, but I think you can call the world championship already, Max doing well to keep up with them as well as he has so far, but the Merc’s have a lot up their sleeve.

Hamilton have to drive in second gear instead of first this year. This will shine through later when engine usage starts to come into play.

No they wouldn't have. The undercut is a second a lap at least and he came in at 0.5 behind Verstappen. Verstappen's only chance was to hold on. Standard F1 making pitstops more important than anything else. We want on track action, not pit stops deciding who wins.
