Maybe I was feeling a little sick that day, or my beer was a bit off or something, but Fat Yak is one of the worst beers I have ever had. Almost chundered....

Not even sure why, might have to have another one to confirm or bust the theory, but yeah, worst beer I have ever had

Yeah try one again, I really enjoy it but you have to feel like beer with strength & flavour.

If I don't really feel like beer then I drink something light or I just can't stomach it.

I will cop it from many football supporters as we are playing like shit atm, but I won't cop it from bloody Richmond supporters. And what does my football team have to do with beer anyway?

I have tried more beers and know more about beer than you do about anything. Idiot.
 
Got a 6 pack of the Matilda Bay Alpha. Yeah the box is fancy and it looks impressive but its sulphry after taste suggests ive either got a dud batch or its very over priced.

All this beer i've been drinking has given me massive lemon chicken cravings. If you knew you would be doing this when you chose that name then you sir, are a bastard. :)

Corona is fairly average, it has no real taste. Although on 40 degree days when you're nursing a hangover they aren't too bad.

I'm really liking Coopers Red at the moment and Asahi isn't too bad either.

I even enjoy an ice cold VB every now and then.

Only ever found it at Sherlock Holmes bar in Collins St (not there now) and in a small bar off King St (not sure of name).

It's called Sparkling Ale.

And all the people who think Corona is a premium beer should get some tastebuds, followed by a brain. It may be refreshing/easy to drink, but it's plain as hell and why would you pay $50 for a carton of something with no flavour? It's only expensive because it's imported and it's trendy, not because it's a quality beer.

Re: Corona. Each to their own, but it's when you get knobs saying "I luv me beers" whilst knocking down something with a bit of fruit in it (literally, not like wheat beers with fruity (banana, orange etc etc) aftertastes), that kind of gets your goat. If you need to add something to it, it aint flash to start with.
 
i'm quite fond of some of the asian brew

kirin and asahi being the obvious japanese choices

also when i went to china, tsingtao was the country's favourite, and among mine

You cannot be serious! That is the worst beer I have ever tasted. I took one sip and chucked it down the sink. Its white sweet beer for christ sake. Who drinks sweet beer?
