I don't really have a favourite player anymore, my favourite just retired at the end of last season.
This guy is a feel "Favourite player..... and stuff the rest of ya" cos all he did was cop unwarranted crap for the past 5 years of his career. So with that said, my favourite was and always will be DES HEADLAND and if ya don't like it then stuff ya.

Also really liked Jeff Farmer, even when he was copping shit from every angle towards the end.

Nice to see this thread has gone near on ten pages without it turning into a 'my club is better than your club' mess, as so many have a tendency to do.

Gumby for me, Watson and Hurley. Fletcher is an absolute star.

Hard to go past Jimmy Hird from the past, but I also was a massive fan of Michael Long and Paul Salmon.

Bewick, Mercuri, Timmy Watson, and Scotty Too Hotty were favourites as well.

Of course, Matthew Lloyd.

From other clubs I just loved Richo - what a star.

Today I like Jake King because he gives his all and is a bit of a laugh, Darren Jolly because he seems like a top bloke and is a bloody good player, Cotchin because it's great to see him up and about, Franklin because he's a scary, scary dude.

Some other past players I had a soft spot for:

Ricciuto, Modra, Steve Wallis, Simon Atkins, Greg Anderson, Hawkins, Chris Grant, Cousins and a few others I'm probably missing.

So many guns in that team...makes me jealous watching them.

But sticking with the theme of the thread - I like Stephen Milne. Kicks goals and pisses people off. If i was a Saints fan I'd love him.

Loved Brett Kirk - always there, gave his all.

Adam Goodes - wonderful player and have watched him progress from when he first came to the club. Terrific person, love watching him play.

Other teams - Chris Judd (champion) and Cameron Ling (just love him, puts his heart and soul into his games and looks nothing like a footballer, funny bloke)

Special mention to Barry Hall - loved watching him play as well, and very sad to see him go from Swans.

I actually don't have a favourite West Coast player.

Brad Sewell - tough little guy, who doesn't have the same skills of some of the other elite midfielders but should he walk away from the game tomorrow then he would go knowing that he gave it his all every game and stood up when it counted.
