Crap might not be the right word, but the fact he wants to leave Adelaide because he isn't getting game time and wants to play for St. Kilda doesn't seem right. If he can't get a game at Adelaide, he ain't going to get on at St. Kilda.

Watts didn't want to leave Victoria in the first place and apparently was ********ed off....then teary when he was drafted by Adelaide.... ...WTF ??

He was handed a few cheap games in 2004 when we were struggling, but with a solid forward line in '05.....he needed to wait his turn. Fergus suffered with OP during the last PS......and only really recovered mid-season when he started playing good footy for Woodville - West Torrens.

I think he is going to be a very good player, still only 20yo - my only query is over his will and committment.....clearly he was told just to sit out his2 year contract then go home.....this was always going to happen.

In the end - good riddance to him - if we strike a good deal then great - if not - I'm happy to feed him to Carlton in the PS draft....either way - we want players committed to the cause......not mummy's boys.

If you watched the SANFL you would of seen he really is quite good 2nd year in AFL obviously not liked by the Adelaide scum and played in a grand final in the SANFL and was the eagles main forward not bad for a 20 year old. Please explain how a kid who gets drafted at fourteen and appears to have done nothing has moved up five or so spots in the draft and is now worth a top ten spot.

Having read most of these posts I think we're becoming a bit personal and insulting which I don't see the need for but my opinion is if Adelaide can get a high pick for Watts then good luck to them they will have done very well.My gut reaction says they will be playing with themselves if they think their going to snare a top ten.When the realities set in at the table and clubs sit down and have "logical" discussions,you'll probably find that his attitude will be a problem.

Not to mention that the club that looks at him will have issues about him not getting a game and the come home factor given Adelaide is 50 minutes from Melbourne.
If they get it great but I think it is unlikely given the player in question.

Yes M73 - probably no need for the personal insults - mightysainters reference to Adelaide Scum seemed to have set the trend though.

I really don't expect much for Watts given he failed to establish himself as an outstanding tall fwd in the local comp - and given that the "go home TO" team usually comes out better in these situations.

I am a cross town rival in Adelaide and for you to say that the Adelaide leader is arrogant defies belief! Which leader...the captain or the coach or the President. The three of them are certainly not arrogant. Neil Craig has shown great leadership and humility. Ricciutto has excelled as All Asutralian and has got the plaudits of his AFL players peers and is certainly not arrogant.
