Fev Deal Near Failure

Take this how you want to, my source has just given me a call back. An updated story about the Fevola deal is about to come out in the Victorian media and basically will state what i'm about to say.

Talks broke up between Carlton and Brisbane a little after midnight...

Rischitelli: As reported has backed out of the deal. Citing family reasons, lack of time to think it over and he was unsure what role he would play in the Carlton midfield.

Bradshaw: Reports that he has also backed out of the deal are BS. Bradshaw was looking to return to Victoria to finish his career and he is comfortable with moving to Visy Park.

McDonald: The Blues are happy to involve McDonald in the deal but does not believe he is adequate compensation for the loss of Rishchitelli in the deal. We want more basically.

Other names Voss is willing to trade: Apparently Voss is one of the most straightforward traders that has taken part in trade week. He comes into the room with a couple of sheets and reveals them accordingly (Untouchables, Willing to Deal, Players Interested In) Some other Brisbane names up for trade Collier, Sheldon, Roe, Rockliff and Drummond.

Brisbane's remaining picks, Carlton list status and rumours of a huge deal from Sydeny are all issues that have stalled the deal. Carlton are reviewing thier list overnight ready for more negotiations tomorrow morning which will now include AFL mediation.

Personally it looks like the deal will fall through. I hope the Sydneny rumours are true.
drummonds allready been traded hasnt he ? im starting to lose track lol.

So Judd, Murphy and Gibbs run the club do they. They are paid proffesionals and should do what is best for the club.If Carlton dont get the deal that is a win for them in their heads, then he should stay? This should be explained to the hole playing group, a STRONG club does this. It doesn't give away a champion full forward for nothing and get nothing.

That only shows a WEAK club, who panders to media and players request. I still think bradshaw and risky is not a win for us, but if it is the best we can do, well try to get it over the line. If not ask for something that is a win or even. Bradshaw and henderson and hooper example, there could be others .

If not no other option he STAYS!!!

It wasnt Judd , Murphy or Gibbs that stipulated that if he had one more alcohol fueled indiscretion he was gone...whose weak if we dont follow through this time with it...... Someone once said the Club is BIGGER than any INDIVIDUAL.....

Nobody to blame but yourselves, you ruled out dealing with your two great rivals in Collingwood and Essendon and that just left hyenas who would pick over the carcass and offer you rubbish

Carlton not only want Fev out of Carlton but out of the state !!!!

You need to cut the cancer out and make sure it doesnt hang around !!!!

Regardless of whether you trade Fevola or not I cant see the club keeping him after all that has happened.
So you could end up losing Fev for nothing LOL LOL LOL :D

Missed Robbo saying that but heard him making it very clear that the inablitly of CFC to pull Fev into line on Brownlow night is where the blame should be laid

You sound more interested in being in the gossip loop instead of reading between the lines and facing the fact that he will not play for CFC again

Not many of us know each other but one thing for certain is - most of us have been around longer than this week. WhoTF is this guy, just read some of the crap he is posting - see below

Is Believable

Just because you have been on a site longer than other people doesn't mean your opinion is more valid or that you have something interesting to say. Just re-read your response, it clearly makes my point.

Only slept for 5 mins last night, Fevolution is coming home guys. This is getting emotional.

As Lethal said ' Brisbane were having a gigantic win in the proposed trade'

That may be so, but as a contracted player if we sack him he still cant play for you scumbags even if he wanted to. Eddie has failed yet again. Whose laughing now? 11 years of promise, 11 years of nothing but empty gestures. Well you cant really blame him though, he is part of a long line of failures that spans back half a century.

If the Club stays true to what they say, Fev won't be a blue come 2 pm and it may be done in a "fire sale" where we get VERY little

If the Club simply can't / won't fire sale him, then Fev could spend a large amount of time in the Bullies or be sacked (which would be messy and a lawyer's picnic)

Just because Carlton can't trade Fev, doesn't mean things go back to normal.

If half the Brownlow stuff we saw in that 10 point email is true (and there's no doubt more), how is the Club going to manage with Fev staying? ie. how does the Club mend the issues between Fev and the affect his Brownlow behaviour had on the other players involved?

The other thing, does Fev really want to play with Carlton anymore? He was quick to agree to Brissy, he didn't come to the B&F.

Either he's extremely embarrassed about what's he done (most likely, he didn't go to the GF either). or he hates the Club for putting him up for trade

Interesting times

When Fev kicks 10 round 1 vs the tigers all will be forgotten. The love will return.

Totally agree!

Five, your opinion is one thing, but talking as if you are the 'law' is kind of ridiculous, especially when you make so many contradictory statements.

One obvious example, why should anyone have to face the fact that Fevola won't be playing for Carlton again at this point? Do you know this for sure? Do you have a crystal ball? Or is it just a bullying tactic?
