My strategy is, don't do it. Waste of cash I've discovered.
Best ST I've used so far is Falcao.
Soon as I finished opening the packs I felt a bit mad about buying them, they are just so fun to open though.
I dunno how else I'd be able to get packs/coins, considering I'd prefer sorting my team out before I start playing.

Well, I'm going about things differently this year.
In year's previous I've just churned through games to accrue coins but this year I haven't bought the game yet. I think I'll wait until the Xmas holidays and just trade for as long as possible on the WebApp until they lock me out of it. I've got about 40k so far and will hopefully double that by the end of the week.
With the cash I save from buying it later I'll have a crack at pulling a few TOTY players in a pack binge before building my team with prices at a low ...
How have you gotten 40k so far?

games completely un-****ing playable.. deal with a laggy as **** game coz i dont wanna **** up my DNF multiplier. then the game ends end the servers kick me and it gives me a DNF

Search FIFA 15 FUT coins - a lot of FIFA YouTubers are sponsored by them and offer discount codes. I think MMOGA might be the cheapest site right now.Where else can you get them?
I have been buying them from EA
Had a look, I think I got 1575 FIFA points for 23 bucks, which got me 10 premium packs and 75 remaining.
The site only offers FIFA points for PC and it's pretty decent deal.
Buying coins however, its 70000 coins for 22.13, roughly what I paid, which means you won't even get 10 packs of premium.
I guess it's probably better for buying players with the coins than it is getting packs and trying your luck on finding anything of value.

Opening packs is much more fun than buying coins though. And plus coin buying/selling is illegal
Yeah man, that's kinda what I was hinting at previously. I want to buy packs opposed to buying coins to buy players.
I can understand that strategy but opening packs is so fun.

Exactly, my pack luck is terrible but opening packs is like a sanitised (although still monetised!) version of playing the slots at the casino
The scary part is how accessible it is to young children. There have been a few stories about of kids putting down hundreds of dollars on their parents' credit cards because they thought the money was in-game coins!

Made a touch over 30k from my gifted EA packs and a wee bit of trading before the game came out. Happy to have put together this Ligue 1 side before I've even played any matches. Not going to pay for any packs this year. Looking forward to trying out the IF centre back too.

I whacked $150 in for packs, took advantage of the first days frenzy on lower rated players, sold off a packed Neuer for 200k and packed all of those players bar Costa, Fabregas, Koscielny, Milner and Lloris. I'm also only running with one squad so I'm moving on the other leagues players quickly whereas usually I'd have four squads running.

I found a coin making method that works pretty well
This isn't it but ...
Did anyone notice the WebApp was glitchy as hell last night? I could get in but it dropped in and out for a few hours. It was near on impossible to place bids on players and I noticed many players worth 15k or more being bought for a penny. I wasn't able to land any steals but i'll let you in on a method that may work in a similar situation if it occurs again soon ...
Find a player that is packed regularly and put up for 150c, 1 hour bids just as regularly. Quite often, people leave it until the last few mins to bump up the prices on the player. When the Web App goes down and is laggy, do you best to get into the Transfer Market and select that player at a max price of say 5k. It might take a few goes but when you get in, here's what you need to do. You need to Add each player to your Watch List and bid at a price that you think is just high enough to cover anyone elses bids. Like silent bidding. If you bid too low, it'll say an error has occured but still doesn't refresh to show you what the highest bid is. You're pretty much bidding blind but you should be able to trump other bidders if you go high enough.
Like I said earlier, I saw many many many awesome deals for players last night as those who knew what to do would have absolutely cleaned up. I'm not going to divulge the players I have in mind if this occurs again as it's every man for himself
but I suggest you find a niche player that this could work with as the Web App will definitely be buggy over the first few weeks.
