Good to see GWS doing well, but it is shameful and depressing that we only have 4000 members more than them. It annoys me that Brisbane people are such bandwagoners and once we start winning again the membership numbers will rise significantly.

I absolutely hate Collingwood and dislike Richmond but I admire the loyalty of so many of their supporters.

Yeah not bad for a 'plastic franchise' whom nobody wants... Demetriou may just end up being vindicated about the GWS experiment yet.

Actually not as many as one might expect. A couple of weeks ago as the club approached 10,000 members they put out a statement saying there was about 3,000 Canberra members. That means a fairly good representation of Sydney members and a pretty good ratio IMO.

Is the cost of membership equal across all teams?

I pay heaps for Vic WC membership and get almost nothing. I dont think this is counted as membership - just like paying to be on the full membership waiting list isnt.

I purchased Swans membership and got entry to three home games and a members cap for less than $60.
My dog looks stupid in the cap

we had more members than essendon last season but i think their membership revenue was almost double ours, so no, not equal.

Sheeds said I think of the cuff lets now aim for 20,000 after 10k was posted. Don't think there is an official membership goal put out by the club though. 15k would be nice to end up with for this season
