Holy sh*t lol, finals really does bring out the strange arguments here.

Can a non-Collingwood supporter please jump in and explain that the Pies are one of about seven or eight clubs that roll with an inverse as their clash jumper, and nearly everyone here thinks it's one of the most effective in the league?

I mean are you guys all thick? How can it be effective if it isn't so against your biggest strip clash? It has one job and it can't do it properly; that is literally an away strip and not a clash strip. For example: in the Premier league, spurs generally (not this season) wear a white with navy home, and then a navy with white (inverse) away. On top of this, they have a third strip of a different colour each season to wear against the likes of West Brom whose home kit clashes with both of these strips. In any case, a properly all black Collingwood strip would 100% solve this issue, but somehow they're above developing one.

Home team wears what they want. Away team develops something that doesn't clash with it. That's how it should be. The only strange arguments come from anyone who disagrees with this. Hell, if north rocked up in orange because they were required to, I wouldn't like them any less; I'm not sure why it's such a contentious issue in this league.

If Collingwood could wear an all black top with black shorts why can’t it wear a mainly black top with white stripes and black shorts. Everyone is brining up Collingwood but it is a number of teams. Port don’t have a suitable clash against Geelong if they are so adamant to wear navy shorts either or Carlton. Geelong wearing navy shorts means teams can’t wear white, black or navy against them which eliminates pretty much every teams home kit.

I mean, we could go along with English soccer and develop third kits that aren't of a club colour eg, Norf wear Orange, Port wear Magenta or some shit.

But then that leaves the door open for some truly horrid designs and jumpers.

And the debate if one of those abhorrent designs ever makes it to Grand Final day.

Only upside is that the Ochre could make a credible return.

No price is too great to see the return of the Ochre.

If it’s a Brisbane vs Richmond Grand Final it be cool if Lions wear their away Fitzroy colours but with blue shorts, Richmond home with white shorts.

Or as the Grand Final is in Brisbane. The Lions wear the first Bears jumper, but with a twist. The BB is changed to BL and the little bear is changed to a lion (probably has to be in the triangle).

Anyone here good at graphics to see how it would look?

Bingo. Guess Carlton don't have a suitable clash either? Sure, so let's chuck them both in dark shorts and call it a day :)
All the Geelong games were out.
I had saved the Home uniform with Blue, shorts, but they only wore Blue shorts against Sydney and Gold Coast in 2017

If it’s Port v Brisbane GF I hope port will wear white shorts.

All other scenarios are pretty self explanatory

What it should be if it is:

Port v Brisbane:
Port in prison bars, black or white shorts, Lions in threepeat jumper, maroon or white shorts dependent on what shorts Port are wearing.

Port v Geelong:
Port in home and black shorts, Geelong in home and white shorts.

Brisbane v Richmond:
Lions in threepeat home jumper and maroon shorts, Richmond in clash jumper and white shorts.

Richmond v Geelong:
Richmond in home and black shorts, Geelong in home and white shorts.

If Port make the GF they will be nominal home team. Unless they want to wear grey they shouldn't have to wear it.
They should wear it, though. Black doesn't contrast sufficiently with Bris' maroon.

Nah, Brisbane in their Fitzroy jumper against Port no question about it.

Brisbane don't wear the Fitzroy jumper in Queensland. We've kept the game alive, Port can **** off if they think they can push us out of our 3-peat jumper.
