Yes, in fact for finals they replace the behind posts with the goal posts at each end, so you score 1 point for kicking it though the middle, and 6 on either side. Also instead of wearing their normal guernseys, they play shirts vs skins.

I didn't think moderators were allowed to be this sarcastic. lol.

As a person who has never been to an AFL final, is there anything different about the experience? i.e. pre-game, post-game, half time etc.
The bar staff bring your beer to you in your seat. wish they did it in the regular season

Also no one wears pants

No SGIO chant at end of quarter. Nearly worth the extra price of admission.

What is with the deal of going in and asking for best available only to find that they hold back some of the better tickets?

Yeah, very annoying to get on at 9am and go through the stress of the slow, malfunctioning ticketmaster website to get my tickets only to have mates log on at lunchtime and get better seats.
What was the point of the ITW pre-sale? To get rid of the mediocre seats?

Seems like it. Release some average ones early so that by the time you log in and get some you are happy just to take what is there because you don't want to miss out, thinking that it is already down to those seats.

Assuming that we win this week, is next weeks game vs Hawks/Pies likely to be on a Friday or Saturday night? Thinking about making the trip over.

I read somewhere that Demetriou confirmed that it'll be on the Saturday, either day or night. Most likely a night game, that's how it's been the last few years.

Very surprised that there were tickets still available, anyone actually have an explanation for this? Were there a lot of north melbourne membership allocation, and since they aren't confident in a win they aren't bothering to make the trip? I couldn't believe my luck yesterday, but oh well, a few frothies and an eagles final. my weekend just went up a notch.

Really weird that it took this long to sell out (actually is it even sold out yet?)

Hoping for a killer atmosphere like the Carlton semi, especially given crowds just tend to be quieter on Sunday afternoons than, say, Friday or Saturday nights.

The crowd at the Carlton game were almost feral. I like it.
