Let's be honest, it's going to be real hard for us. We currently sit 2 wins outside the 8 and still have to play Melbourne, Port and Brisbane. Plus the 50/50s against Sydney, Saints and WB. If we play like we have been playing I can see us doing it. But all it takes is an injury to a key player like Broad or Nank and things unravel.
Tell you what, if we somehow sneak past Brisbane this week, we are certainties to make it.
If Sydney at the G is a 50-50 for us we dont deserve to make finals
Can still lose to the lions on Thursday and make finals. But… god if we win on Thursday against a team that hasn’t lost at their home ground, we’re back!
We would have to go for a hell of a winning streak and with no Lynch i cannot see us being able to win another 7 games

They just flogged WCE by a bajillion points and were last years grand finalists. That has to count for something. I say 50:50 based on the whole year, not our form of last 3 weeks. Our forward line issues still persist.
Fair, but I stand by it, if we cant beat them at home with the season on the line we dont deserve to be there come September.
West Coke games dont count this season.

It seems that most of us here are writing them off (im not far away from doing it myself).
The swans/cats draw makes the fight for the 8 even more intriguing. There are now 4 teams that sit on the precipice of the 8 with a draw. We lost our 2 point advantage. Though if you look at the draws for teams like, Essendon, Adelaide, Stkilda, its difficult seeing them get to 13 wins. Spots will open up, but who will take them?
We have had a few days to get over our collective melts and look at the remaining fixture.
What has changed since last week?
2 things, we have to win without Short and Lynch now is less likely to feature in the H&A.
We were never expecting to win but the nature of the defeat was troubling. However, it seemed more like a post bye aberration.
Dusty will now come back and maybe another youngster. It all comes down to the Swans game this Thursday. Win that and i feel going 6:2 is possible.

I actually can't believe we are 4th bottom right now, despite winning 3 of our last 4
Its hard to see how this team can keep on fighting. It's a massive test for a lot of our players. Graham, McIntosh, Pickett, Miller,plus many more - its time to stand up or be prepared to have futures elsewhere.

How hard did that draw just **** us last Friday night. And Coke tanking the game away against Aints yesterday.

Yeah, we'll make it easy.
I thought adding hopper+ Tarranto= Flag 4.
There were question marks over Dusty's from . He's slowly come good. But the mid forward mix has been butterfly effected.
Chuck in a coach change, Lynch injury, mysterious injury recovery issues, depth players losing form and we are 15th on the ladder.
Having said that we may still scrape into make finals.

We topped our midfield after our defeat from brisbane midfield last year by paying 4 first rounders to get belted by brisbane midfield again. We were only missing prestia.

pies are telling us its big boy month
Swans not beating cats last week (like the should have) means we most likely need to win two more games than cats (who play a lot of future games at home) which I can’t see happening. Not sure that 6 or 7th positions are up for grabs.
