A gooey intermission...

Kane is doing what many should've.
Goin out on a high, as fit as ever, without a tap on the shoulder, to chase his next passion.
He's a standup guy, so this is best for PAFC, his family and himself.
The timing of the intake for the fire dept wasn't his choosing and so I commend the great campaigner for taking the plunge and changing careers on his own terms.
He's a premiership player, so glasses up.

Salute

Well...... it's confirmed

Wow, that flog Ricciuto has a really short memory

But if he chooses to abandon his teammates and his club midway through the season for an opportunity to join the fire brigade or the media it undoes everything that he’s stood for or what he should stand for. It would smack of putting the individual before the team, which is not what good players or clubs are about

****ing legend of a bloke that has dealt with awful off field issues (and being son to Graham) and remained consistent as ever despite being so maligned.

Shit thread is shit.

Well done on a good career. 300 games is nothing to sneeze at, and given his disposal it's an even greater achievement. Although one wonders if he would've been a little more respected if he wasn't constantly diving for free kicks throughout his career and didn't have such a loud mouth wife.

Well done Kane.

Cheap back handed compliment is cheap

Well done Kane.

Atleast he won't cry on the bench costing his team a final.

See, I can do it too :)

Would not expect anything different.

Funny how Roo claims Kane is selfish.

About time Roo had a good hard look in the mirror and think back to the 2007 elimination final when he put his own selfish interests before the team.

Slightly selfish. Why did he sign the contract extension?

Because of Ken, he's helped him through the whole process of joining the MFS :thumbsu:

I’ve insisted that he play his 300th game for the Port Adelaide Football Club as he deserves to reach that outstanding milestone.

Should be remembered as a player who got the most out of his footy, a good family man and an intelligent football student.
Good luck to him and his family and I have no problem with him getting the 300 he deserves it. Been one of the best PAFC servants since they entered the AFL.
