I played quite a bit of footy in B grade (until my club went up) and i can say that this club has been trouble before..... Nth coburg,Northern Saints or whatever they call themselves now. You can change your name and merge with others, but you cant erase the past. Their fans are idiots.

Anyway, disgusting act and i hope the mongrel cops the full brunt of the law.

It seems you can't go and watch your kid play football without some scumbag ruining it for everybody. Your problem is that you referred to the half of the club without a bad history, fawkner has a bad history, not north coburg saints and people in involved with north coburg would be annoyed to see you suggest they had a bad history.

14 reports....all Fawkner players. 1 player gets 2 years for eye-gouging. a handful get 1 season bans - including the coach's son. Do you remember this? do you want me to remind you with names of players?

They certainly had problems with their under age team and as a result did not field under age teams after leaving the Amateurs. The under age teams only started again when they merged with Moomba Park who already had juniors, but no under 18 or 19's, and then disappeared for a couple of years until resurrected by the merger with North Coburg Saints.

I will repeat, the club was not kicked out of the Amateurs.

P.S. The players names would be good.

I've watched plenty of North Coburg games in the past, no problems, its when they merged that problems started occurring.

I've hears enough of your mindless dribble. Give me some facts. Some specific examples of problems involving the club. I'd love to hear something with substance.

Now people at football clubs change so I don't want to hear any examples from more than 10 years ago. (If you could even find any).

I'd love for you to spend some time with the people involved at the club and you might just see some of the amazing work that has gone into the place.

The under 16's have had a few issues this year, all of which involving players new to the club. So This would not fit into your suggestion the club has a history of trouble.

No senior player was reported this year. No reserve player was reported this year. One under 18 player was reported for indecent language. Yep sure sounds like a club full of thugs .

As for the suggestion that the offender may be a players brother. That could be the case or may not, however he is still not known by the club. He has never been seen there and he has not attended other games.

That is pretty much the standard catch cry when the crap hits the fan at any game by all clubs.
The EDFL will determine if the trouble makers are linked to Nth Saints, which appears that they are , I just hope they come down hard on this.

How come nobody has replied to this question? I would have thought that the posters who have very strongly come out and stated that the thug with the mallet is in no way affiliated with the club, would want to adress this question. The silence from these people lead me to believe that this might in fact be true.
