Amen to that. VFL Park was supposed to be at Ruthven, two train lines, plenty of parking and public transport, instead we got a white elephant in a rain belt.line ball… both soulless miserable piles of crap. Sir Kenneth Luke was a massive campaigner.
Artic Park was the best. Miss those old days of getting absolutely smashed by rain and freezing your nuts off.I hate it too mate.
I miss VFL/Waverley Park. You froze your nuts off there and was a pain in the clacker to get to Public Transport wise, but she was a proper footy stadium with the greatest playing surface either.
I also miss that old dot matrix scoreboard !!!
Of course it was mate. Heck even Whitten Oval was a more fun place to watch footy as was Optus Oval and yes the Cattery !
I went there only once or twice, sat behind a very tall bloke and heckled Ilja Grgic...the tall bloke was his dad. He wasn't a bad bloke .I hated the Whitten Oval, watching Simon Beasley kick 10 goals against was the pits.
There's a whole thread about via the link below maybe you should read it and subscribe as well...I haven't heard of Ninthlong.
Maybe you write about it in your blog.
A girl i know from my old high school told me she works for him.I hated the Whitten Oval, watching Simon Beasley kick 10 goals against was the pits.
Their dads agree with you.I went there only once or twice, sat behind a very tall bloke and heckled Ilja Grgic...the tall bloke was his dad. He wasn't a bad bloke .
I felt bad about that and only heckled really immoral players after that like Milne and Joel Selwood.
What am I expected to do? Put effort into worrying about a bunch of up coming dead rubbers? PleaseAre you sure you want to watch that this close to grand final day?
