Can't see a reason why they wouldn't be allowed to.., considering ABC released footage of the forthcoming interview for the commercial network's news services Sunday night. And free publicity for the ABC too.

I think they will touch on it, but move on quickly, all the panellists views on it were covered last week or week before (??)

Guess we wait with baited breath.

Arch didn't get owned by many people on the field, but ****, Hutchy repeatedly destroys him on Footy Classified.

Mind you, I don't think Hutchy is doing the show any favours by pointing out the fact that Archer's just too watery to hold down that seat.

I feel a bit for Arch, he's a good bloke and shouldn't be on the show. He's not willing to ask the hard questions, and that's fine from a moral perspective - we all respect that - but it's not what you want on television.

Hard hitting questions and the truth. Sadly, it's the hard questions that get the answers. Ex-players just seem incapable of asking them; they just seem pre-occupied about not putting anyone offside. Not good enough.

...and another thing - having a go at Grant Thomas? FFS - they both get paid to speak their mind and have an opinion, it's just that GT has the balls to put his thoughts on the line. Sure, Arch had infinite on-field courage, but he looks scared to have an opinion...not good when you are paid to have an opinion.

I didn't mind Arch too much tonight although that's as much because Hutchy's quivering bottom lip put him to the bottom of the pile of four. Lyon's defiant words on Melbourne won't carry him much further if the floggings continue, so he'd want to pray that things turn around fast. I'm not in the either of the anti-Caro/milf Caro camps, so she was ok in my book. Her comments on Carey were consistent with her article, so no surprises there really.

How good is that Clarkson bloke. So cool and calm, he presents very well and I would love to have someone like him front the club.

Obviously I am happy with Arch. Sure he doesn't ask the hard questions but when the panel to defer to him on a controversial issue I find his insights, from a former players perspective, intriguing. Happy for him to be on the show.
