It's like $10 a week if you bother to make a 2 minute phone call once a year to get it discounted. I can think of a a heap of stuff that are far worse for wasting money than that.

10 dollar per week is still far more then streaming services for outdated inferior tech. You have to be an idiot to keep using it. Use kayo for sports.

Satellite would be 1-2 secs. Streaming is 10-30.
I'll probably end up switching to Kayo at some point but it is still $6.25 a week just for sport and there is a few other things I watch on Fox, plus I'd have to upgrade my internet adding to that cost. I've also found that NBN can drop out at times here.
You can share kayo with others to split the costs.
Yes I know and that if I happened to know someone that was convenient to do that with I probably would. But at the end of the day it's still only $10 bucks and it's no real sweat for someone that isn't a student or unemployed to be a tightarse over.
But why do you even want it? Even if its free i wouldnt want it cos I would never use it outside sport which is now on Kayo.
Netflix and amazon prime (disney if you have kids) and kayo is where its at. Combined its cheaper then foxtel (extremely cheap if you split subscriptions) and vastly vastly superior product then foxtel. Once I got these I didnt even watch foxtel. Like at all.
I've already said why many times..
Relax I'll end up switching to that at some stage, meanwhile I'll manage to not go into financial ruin paying a couple of extra bucks a week.

It's actually a situation where you can't lose now, either they give it to you the old way at a significantly reduced rate (which some are happy to pay for and still use) and if they don't just say no problem and cancel to use to use the new way for even less!

like i say, im happy to pay around $52 a month, a discount of $40+ a month on full price, for what i get thru the satelite system with no delays or issues with internet speed. i also can stream 90% of the titles and watch on different devices if i want. once they stop giving discounts, then they will find another big chunki of subscribers will drop off and then its the end for them

I have nothing but won with my situation. Only watched sport, and they were offering basic package with sport for more than im paying for kayo. ergo, me won.
Why do you care so much? He said he's happy to pay a little extra for what it gives him. What more do you need to hear? Sometimes people feel differently to you, but that doesn't mean you need to convince them you are 'right'. Are you a vegan or born again Christian by any chance? You accept others' opinions like one.
Foxtel is shit IMHO, those that disagree you're welcome to it.

**** that. The only reason i still have Foxtel reduced to the $20 sport only pack was for Eurosports and the Snooker mostly. Hopefully Kayo can add it then and who knows.
This really sucks if they drop Eurosports.

There is literally no way in Oz you can watch Eurosports now and there goes my live Snooker matches.
Will have to investigate these VPN thingos that mask your ID so i can access Eurosports direct or something.
