Franklin is simply a serial offender though. An extremely arrogant and unsavoury individual. If I were you, I'd be hoping for a flag this year (likely) and to see the back of him pre-2014.

..sure, plenty of ppl have argued with the opposite gender.. ..possibly quite angrily too.. ..but generally it's someone you have shared experiences with and come at a disagreement over.. ..rarely is it with 'strangers' you've only most recently met..

Go have a read what Buddy has tweeted about being verbally abused by the woman and when he fought back she did the old " I will fix you trick"
He tweeted that the Herald Sun is not interested in that she attacked him and he defended herself because that would not make good reading.
How do you know the woman was not in the wrong?

If that's true, you wouldn't bother getting into the debate. Even pushing a woman (which I think is what he did) is never called for. Not unless she's attempting to assault you.

Go have a read of his tweets and you may find that Buddy may have not been the guilty party and that indeed he was defending himself.
As he tweeted the Herald Sun would not be interested in that side of the story.

"Guy does something stupid while drunk", that's unexpected. Definitely not condoning his actions, Buddy shouldn't have been intoxicated in the first place. As much as we'd like our AFL players not to smoke, do drugs and drink heavily, it is still going to happen. Not condoning that either, some AFL players need to pull their head in.

Why am I not surprised to see most of bigfooty attacking the woman in this situation. Even after Buddy himself and the club have admitted he was at fault.

There is always two sides to every story. His twitter account is certainly saying that she must of said something to him that upset him.
But why does Buddy put himself in these situations all the time? Lots of high profile footballers go through their careers with no incidents like this. Some people are attracted to trouble.

Sure he did the wrong thing but the people who are attacking him assume they know all the facts from an article in the Herald Sun.

I am not defending Buddy I am just pointing out that as he has personally said " the Herald Sun is not interested in the other side of the story.
