Given that he routinely goes off with a knee or ankle, looking like he's suffered a career-ending injury, and then comes back on 10 minutes later completely fine and dominating the rest of the game, I'm expecting the scans to come back showing that the hamstring is actually stronger than it was before bouncedown.
Pretty sure he was eating the ice which was why there was nothing left on his leg post game.

Scans on Darcy say moderate hammy strain. How long are they normally?

This will seriously test us. At least it will prove beyond reasonable doubt how important he is to our success to those who want to trade him...

If Dogga has to ruck and Treacy has to relief ruck - and he did a great job against two of the best in the business - then we are always losing two parts of the Triple Jays.

Which cannot happen.

Treacy and someone else should relief ruck.

It's Sean Darcy. He'll be back after the bye.

Nankervis, Briggs and Draper would be in the lower echelon of rucks in the comp. Maybe harsh on Nankervis, but lots of good rucks out there. Our biggest danger is them using their knees to cause injuries to players we primarily need to be tall forwards. I'd be looking at Reidy, rather than some shuffle of Jackson/Treacy/Kuek.

I'm pretty sure the only ones wanting to trade him are Melbourne journos who haven't watched us play in a month. The biggest strength of our team the last month has been the Darcy and Jackson connection. Luke has been dominant when starting in the centre square as a midfielder.

Kane Cornes wants Freo to consider trading him out

Not that I think Freo should

They both cause major headaches for opposition teams

We drafter Reidy for this exact scenario. All he has to do is stop giving away clearance frees and put a body on their ruck so they don't get a free tap. He can do it and he seems the player from what I've what I've watched that has some dog in him.

Sean Darcy returning to WA to get his rehab under way is a great indication of his professionalism and evolution from a chunky rookie to a fully invested professional.

He had arranged a short break in Victoria to catch up with family but changed his plans when he injured his hammy on Saturday. Nothing but admiration for him as that would have been a tough decision.

How do you know he arranged to stay in Vic? Surely the club flys his fam over for a weekend.
