Fremantle Team of This Century (So Far)

hi guys,
i've come up with this team as your best of this century so far. this is not taking into account anything any player done prior to the year 2000, even if they played in both eras i was only considering their performances post 2000-. thoughts?

Good effort. I'd have Fyfe in it already though if it was actually going to play a game of footy!
Don't think you need all the Carr's and Crowley. Would rather Rodger Hayden for one of them.

Walters for Waterhouse.

Probably Fyfe for Black, so far.
There are some who might plump for Tony Modra being included in there somewhere as well. He did play for us for a while.

Not too far off the mark, though.

The thing about these "all time" teams is that we have soft spots for those who were ... shining lights, I suppose you'd call them, during some very dark days.
Waterhouse was exciting, to be sure... but really? Walters is all over him in terms of talent.
McManus... I loved the guy. week in, week out did his best. But we have players in our current team who do that as well.
Troy Cook? Loved that guy too. But these days he'd end up being suspended every second week (not that that should count for anything).

Not even sure about Medhurst, to be honest. Again, good player... but Walters and Ballantyne are just as good. And with a nod to Buddylbo23, Tarrant surely deserves a spot in the backline.
Honourable mention to James Clement, as well. I'm wondering if that was who buddy boy was referring to, rather than Walker?

Anyway, point being that those we perceived to be our best players at the time, particularly in dark times, weren't really as good as the faithful perceived them to be. They were just the best we had.
