Sure it is probably the best draw Demon could hope for but just what a testament on what hard work can get you. There is no way that level of tennis was in him a couple of years ago, was an absolute pleasure to watch. For a guy with the way he hits the ball so flat makes it so tough for him on clay, he's added some height to his ball and the overall shot choice was superb. The serve has picked up speed as well.

I don't know how you can't enjoy that brand of tennis.

Joker looked cooked/injured aginst Cerundolo and was two games away from losing the match but some how Joker found a way to win another 5 setter epic

How does he keep doing it what a freak.

Looks awful going forward if he’s dropping sets to this bloke and I love Novak. Just happy he’s competing. Hopefully Rune takes Zverev out that will be handy for Novak but I trust Zverev more in a 5th.

Happy Mirra Andreeva won was the match I was most interested in

Musetti and Cerundolo are both pretty good clay specialists. Both super inconsistent but not not short of talent. I expected nothing this tournament so stoked he’s made it this far. A real bonus.

They are okay but he shouldn't be losing 2 sets to both a set sure, but he is shanking his groundshots all over the place. I'm taking all the wins as a bonus, fully expect this year will be his last of a realistic chance and if he gets to a semi or final I'm happy.

I haven’t seen as much of his matches as I would’ve liked, but he’s hitting probably the best I’ve seen all year. His level against Musetti was great, it was just the Italian was defending everything.

Now that might not be saying much but he’s been atrocious for months. I mean who could forget the level at IW, or Rome. QF is a great result given his year. And don’t care that he’s dropped sets, tough opposition + poor form = still grinding out wins.

He was horrible today bar the first set and when it counted late in the 5th. Just feel he's going in and out of matches way too often. Has he played a good match against a top player all year? I sort of expected it, and he's fortunate he has this side of the draw if he had the other one he wouldn't even get close to a semi. Don't think Iv'e seen him hit his BH worse than today and that's a big alarm bell as that's his bread and butter safe shot. He has this tournament and Wimbledon feel those are the last two realistic chances and that's fine, I've been content with him having a farewell year or two and retiring when he wanted. As soon as he got the record anything more was a bonus on top

Five set back to back matches for both Djokovic & Zverev...I'm giving Demon a sneaky chance of the upset if can play at the same level of sets 2-4 from last night.

Interesting that 6 of the top 8 women are in the quarters along with the 12th seed...That doesn't tend to happen too much in the slams.

Did the French have a night quarter final time slot last year? Prefer if all 4 matches were in row with no breaks.

Women have been fairly consisistent all year at least the top 4, Sakkari was a dud in terms of consistency but the rest have been good.

Think they took out the night womens match this year, vaguely remember that, don't want games starting way late at least.

Both sets of finals should be good, least the boring matches are over
