They are okay but he shouldn't be losing 2 sets to both a set sure, but he is shanking his groundshots all over the place. I'm taking all the wins as a bonus, fully expect this year will be his last of a realistic chance and if he gets to a semi or final I'm happy.

He should be losing 2 sets to them though.

If there were 2 players who I’d want to lose 2 sets to in this French Open tournament in a clay court match, it would be Musetti and Cerundolo. Those who specialise in the court and are among the best here.

If he’s playing well (which he isn’t really) he’s dropping 1 set at most to both. He isn’t winning this and that’s fine

I wouldn't be...Zverev has just come through 2 tough 5-setters & ADM has a secret weapon as well

On Redmi Note 8 Pro using BigFooty.com mobile app

True. Played a few 5 setters at the AO as well and still made the semis. It just seems that Zverev is the in form player of the tournament. Totally different prospect to Medvedev who is hopeless on clay. Guess we will see what happens.

Jabeur sure is a shell of her former self. The close grand slams where she should have won have definitely mentally cooked her. Gauff should thump her here and send her home. Cant see Jabeur ever doing anything great again

Doing well today whatever happens sets her up for a good grass season and Wimbledon where she’s most dangerous

Jabeur really needs to throw in the towel and just retire from tennis altogether
bit harsh

But I do understand the frustration. Those 2 Match points on that last game.....

One fantastic, with a drop shot which Carlos would have be proud of. THe other, a put-away smash straight into Gauff, and then missed the other well wide.

Still a great tournament and she heads to Wimbledon confident and that’s her chance let’s be real she’s okay on hard and meh on clay, a top 3-4 player on grass

She was the fav for the French I think in 2021, and then lost in the 1st round.

I think she is good on clay, meh on hardcourt, great on grass.

Considering her form, this is a good week. I dont think she will do anything on grass. I think there will be a lot of demons going back to Wimbledon. Too much internal pressure.

Mirra vs Sabalenka

That should be a good match I give Mirra a chance of causing an upset she's so bloody good for 17

Yes and no. Think it’s a year too soon for her. Will need to serve Very well and it’s a big if there

If Demon some how beats Zervev he faces Novak in the semi final geez that's tough for Alex

Although Novak is playing on one leg and coming from b2b grulling 5 setters Alex would be a chance

Alex will make Novak run all over the court

I wouldn’t worry about that.

I’d be more worried about making it to the semis. There’s like a 20% chance he beats Zverev based on form and past record.

Yeah I expect Sabs to be too powerful and strong for Mirra

Mirra is going to have so many winners blast past here 😄

Look I would love Mirra to win I want a Rybakina vs Iga final.
