It's absolutely the club's fault for losing Logue and Acres. The majority of people thought Jackson was overhyped and it's looking exactly like that (only early days though).

Not sure what JL and the assistants were up to in the off-season but they're a long way off it.

Clark chipping it to Ryan with 13 seconds left when he is perfectly capable of kicking it 55m to the goal square is unbelievably stupid.

JL is the modern day Justin Leppitsch, poor senior coach, really good assistant coach

You need to understand that Clarke had Ryan as his dreamteam captain and wanted the extra points.

That’s the only reason I can come up with for what was one of the dumbest things I have seen.

They was two horrible decisions under pressure in the last 90 seconds.
The first was Walters getting the free kick 48m out and not attempting a kick at goal worst case it falls short to be punched through for a behind. We could have penned them in after being level for the kick in then with a minute left and all the momentum behind us.

The second was Clark with 13 seconds left wasting about 6 seconds by chipping short to Ryan who was FURTHER away from goal. Even Clark could have hit it to the top of the goal square for a behind.

It’s disappointing under such intense pressure that clearer heads weren’t displayed

Worst performance in 10 years. So many things not working.

Centre clearances are a liability, we’ve just been smashed by a centre bounce unit that has Goldstein and Cunnington in it - with a combined age of more than Brayshaw, Serong and Jackson combined.

Our mid forward connection is terrible - and it’s the fault of both units - the forward movement is appalling and the midfield kicking is deplorable.

Let this sink in - we’ve kicked 14 (just 14!!!) goals in pretty much eight quarters of football against the Saints and North. Collingwood have scored 37 goals in two games.

Our ball movement is more constipated than at any time I can recall and our marking is like our hands are baked in granite.

All this - whilst we have the best availability of any team in the league.

Forget top four - we’ll be lucky to break out of the bottom four.

Comprehensively beaten by the Saints with the worst injury list in living memory and North.

Utter s**t.

I will be interested to see what JL says in the presser and to see how the social media team tries to spin things.

Here is my gut reaction: besides the midfield clearance anhilation.
The lack of forwards leading forward to the approaching ball carrier is the worse Ive seen in over 50 years of watching footy. Time and time again we carry the ball to 65m and I look down to our forward line and they are ALL running backwards trying to stop and prop and ease the defender under the ball. Its pathetically bad footy and it could be solved in a week on the track.
The fact we continue to do it week in and out unfortunately points this directly to the coaching staff. I cant be more subtle, that was on the coaches.

Midfield is Brayshaw. Just Brayshaw and the maggots watch him getting stomped on every week and it's just play on.

I don't care that JOM kicked two late goals. He's basically done SFA. Jackson is just a stupid football player. Walters only in the forward area surround by talls and does he kick it in front of Sonny, so that the ball is on the ground. Nope, kicks high, slow and braindead to the norfs talls. We sold the farm for those two and they're not worth a can of coke.

All I see is very stupid football being played. I'm really not sure I could watch again next week. Might need some time away....
