Fremantle are travelling along nicely, currently sitting in 3rd pozzy.

They were in the mix last year so we know this is not by luck.

They seem to slip under the radar, and Geelong, Hawthorn, Carlton & Essendon seem to be built up more as premiership contenders. This will suit them just fine.

They've improved out of sight playing away from home in the past 2 seasons.

Are Freo the ones' to watch this year for a GF birth, or are they still a year or more off?

Personally, I think they're going to come very very close. :footy:

Hard to call. They're usually a strong team at home. How they perform away will determine how much of a premiership contender they are this year. imo they're a top 4 side this year tho.

We've had the sh1ttest possible preseason, so we're still finding form. But hopefully when we get some of our injured players back, and some more form / match conditioning into those who missed the bulk of of the pre-season, we can lift it up another notch.

12 games at Patersons stadium and playing easy games in Melbourne. The draw was definately moulded to favour Freo's chances. But as usual at the G - Freo will get smashed by the likes of Geelong and Collingwood come finals.

as usual at the G? we didnt get a game there in the home and away season last year.

Brisbane@gabba, Adelaide@AAMI, Geelong and Bulldogs, is not exactly an "easy" start.

Hawks, Saint and Dogs in Melb, Swans @ SCG, amongst travelling every other week. Seems like the norm to me. is it possible to mould a draw in our favour?

Bitter, much?:)

Since we are barely given any games at the 'G' I can't see what the 'usual' record you refer to.

You refer to 12 home games as an advantage (every team has home games) whilst conveniently leaving out travelling all over the countryside playing away. You lack the maturity for a genuine critical analysis and correct spelling.

Guess a big bad finals team like the Bulldogs should've been old Freo'.. oh wait.

We've had an absolutely terrible pre-season injury wise (mostly contact injuries) and our form and skills have been quite bad so far. yet we are 4 and 1 and could easily (should have if we kicked just a little straighter) have been 5 and 0.

Have a look at our injuries -as our form improves and a few of these players come back this year isn't looking bad for us at all ;)

So much for the doomsayers that thought last year was a flash in the pan and didn't see how Freo has changed/developed in every aspect over the last few years - its all just starting to come together.

The dogs freo game was an exhibition of the worst skills and unforced errors. Both teams will be lucky to make the finals.

i recall freo playing carltank twice last year. how many of those games did you win?

but maybe they have improved this year... how did they go against essendon after they lost 2 players at once?

can't wait for round 21, sucks we don't play you twice this year again.

Will fall away quickly from here on in.

Will not make top 4. Bookmark it. But may scrape into the 8.

If they do, they won't win a final.

Still will do better than Essendon.

Not at all

Freo is not the only team that gets few games at the G, but what was the result last time Freo played there? remind me?

If you dont believe that 12 home games is an advantage then its clear that you lack the intelligence to know differently. Fremantle traveled to Brisbane and Adelaide for easy games against the Lions and Crows.

The next time you travel is R7 to the MCG against Richmond (where you probably consider Richmond at the MCG a tough game in comparison), R9 - back to AAMI vs Port, then R11 - Hawthorn at the MCG .

Dont whine about travelling when just about every other team also has to travel.

Guess a big bad finals team like the Bulldogs should've been old Freo'.. oh wait.

Lap up your 7 point win at a home game. Last time the Dogs played Freo in Melbourne it was quite a different outcome. Not that a loss to Freo matters at an early stage of the season. When the Dogs smashed Freo late last year, it knocked your mob out of a top 4 spot. Big difference when the results mattered.

You scraped past us at Subi. And only scraped past us in Melbourne because we lost Kreuzer in the first quarter. I can't wait to play you either, will be at the game to witness the royal flogging administered to the Freo bogans.

Scraped or not, you lost twice clown nose and if you're blaming the loss one player for the reason you lost in Melbourne then your shit Blue team really does suck cheese dicks.

Freo will pump Carlballs again this year.

Excuses excuses excuses....
