Freo: The Ones' to Watch?

You scraped past us at Subi. And only scraped past us in Melbourne because we lost Kreuzer in the first quarter. I can't wait to play you either, will be at the game to witness the royal flogging administered to the Freo bogans.

i don't see why we won't "scrape" past you for the 3rd time. we are above you on the ladder and we have one of the biggest injury lists in the comp.

besides you won't even beat sydney. you will be lucky to finish 6th let alone share the top 4 with us.

Freo is not the only team that gets few games at the G, but what was the result last time Freo played there? remind me?

If you dont believe that 12 home games is an advantage then its clear that you lack the intelligence to know differently
The next time you travel is R7 to the MCG against Richmond (where you probably consider Richmond at the MCG a tough game in comparison), R9 - back to AAMI vs Port, then R11 - Hawthorn at the MCG .

Dont whine about travelling when just about every other team also has to travel.

.
Why do the Bullflogs only play twice at the G?

Surely if 12 games at home is a bonus then 13 for you lot at ETIHAD should be a ripping draw for you then, could have been more if you didn't sell your home game against Sydney.

Travelling 10 times a year across against your 6, (would have been 5 if you weren't poor) unless you count getting the bus to Geelong. There's a fair difference in travel load, that even you with your heightened intellegence would pick up.

Freo fans getting really ahead of themselves. You struggle away from Subi, top 4 is a huge ask for you guys.

Injuries will play a huge part, as will the return and form of one Michael Barlow.

Sandi, Pavlich, Mundy, Barlow & De Boer(tagger)- Fyfe & Hill on the wings - that is an A-Grade centreline that is going to win a lot of clearances and send the ball deep before zones can establish.

How?

They play 12 games at Subi. Let's say they drop three - that's nine wins for the season.

Add in their two away victories, and predict that they'll win three more - that's fourteen wins.

Bulldogs came fourth with fourteen wins last season.

Probably need to have enough wins to have a top 4 home final, chances are that they win that and thru to the prelims. They need to win enough on the road, that is their hurdle.

They're 2 from 2 this year. Not exactly struggling.

Top 4 is not a huge ask at all. Making the Grand Final is unlikely as it would more than likely require them to beat either Collingwood or Geelong in a prelim at the 'G, but they would realistically expect to be playing deep into September.

:D :D :D

Cant beat Geelong at Subi.

Fumbled the ball like Gold Coast against a clearly out of form bulldogs.

Will get smashed in Melbourne by Collingwood.

Even with an AFL assisted draw wont win a final, Squibb Hill and Hack Fyfe will crumble when it counts. :thumbsu:

Freo's draw is the biggest armchair ride to the Top 4 in AFL history, they only play 3 finals-contending sides outside of Perth for the entire year.

It better be enough for a Top 2 finish though because we all know how average they are in Melbourne, especially in finals

Will get absolutely annihilated off the 'G by Collingwood or Geelong come Finals.

Can't even beat us at their own home ground. :D:thumbsu:

My Prediction: Bundled out of the Finals Week 1 by a second rate Victorian Team and their Supporters break out into wild celebration. Players are clapped from the field after their 45 point loss.

Didn't beat you at subi, but they SHOULD have. Had many many opportunities to win the game. At the end of the day they didn't win, but a bit of goal kicking improvement and they would have. In saying that, that is at subi, at the G I still think Freo will struggle against Geelong and Collingwood of course.

So I imagine that all the Freo knockers will be barracking for Collingwood in the grand final then will they?

Better start saving up for therapy fellas, you're going to need it.

adelaide not that long ago was said to have an even easier draw and look how well there doing.

footy changes fast, crying about draws is pathetic and irelevant.

sounds like your just bitter cause you can't beat us on any ground :D

I love how everyone says Fremantle "aint travelling that well".

We are 4-1 and lost to Geelong in a competitive match who are 5-0.

Victorians blow a lot of huff and puff about borderline victorian sides as contenders.

Essendon, Hawks, Saints and Dogs are nothing to rave about.

Its Collingwood - Geelong daylight then Fremantle along with any other team you want to suggest.

Whoever made the comment about us only playing 3 sides in top 8 away from Subiaco is a complete dumb****. How many teams in top 8 do you play outside of Victoria? What a stupid f***.
