I think this time around we draft some forwards early and develop them.

Follow the Carlton/Adelaide model. There's no point in just picking defenders and ruckmen. But, the main thing is not to lose all your talent to other teams.

Imagine Freo with a fully realised Hogan, Lobb, Neale, Cerra, Langdon, Acres and Logue. We'd have awesome depth.
