Wonder if we could fit in hamling,Pearce and cox in the same side. 🤔 with Darcy, fyfe, cox, aish,Tabener,Chapman out etc we need to test the fringe. Got no choice season is done just about. It’s about next year now

We are in the top few for frees for.

Ok, raw numbers aren't a metric that's worth it's weight in sh*t.

This game, we are leading the fc count. 2 of them given with under 10 seconds before the siren, so worth nothing. 2 frees given late after we had possession and had moved on with the ball. That's half our frees to zero value.

Then we players held off the ball, pushed out of marks, an intentional push away to waste time by a Sydney player just before half time with no call.

We are not even close to being one of the top teams for getting the frees we should or value for our frees. How many times against Collingwood last week when downfield frees were brought back 50 metres to the player that was infringed. I'll help you out, that happened 3 times. Those 3 frees penalised the team.

Don't go giving me this numbers of frees when you ignore 90% of the context. It's stupid.

Funny the different way we all see things. I haven't been following this thread and have been thinking Sturt is finally starting to look confident at the level, he's been leading up the ground, linking up well. He's finally getting more involved.

Corbett has done similar, taken some good marks up the ground, can see his kicking isn't terrific but he hasn't been awful.
Wagner is taking the game on.

Good to see Erasmus starting to find himself at the level too. He's going nicely. Brayshaw has been great.

Such an awful year, we're back to being a rabble mostly. You can see we have the makings of a good side but gee its looking a long ways off right now.
I don't think I've ever done this but I think I'm going to turn over to the Pies, Port game and watch some high quality footy.

The gameplan is an absolute dud. Sydney are just putting more players at the ball because they know that even if we get our hands on it we're probably going to turn it over, and even if we don't we're going to mess around with it long enough so they can get numbers back.

Our only chance is that they get tired.

Meh. I’m just enjoying the ride at this stage. We have what? Two 20 year olds as our main tall forwards. Seeing them compete from either poor or limited service is at least something to be happy for the future about. Youth is never an excuse. Just a reason. Rather be playing these blokes and getting them experience
