Don't know if anybody's mentioned this and I can't be stuffed reading 9 pages but according to the Advertiser lots of clubs are looking to draft a young Sri Lankan kid by the name of Ranga. Hope he plays on Cameron Ling at least once.

Ranga Ediwirickrama (sp?) is a Scholarship player linked to Geelong. The Advertiser is a pretty average paper so I wouldn't expect them to know that there are in fact no clubs chasing him because one already has him.

Ilija pronounced it "Grig-gick". But just to confuse things, there was a Brent Grgic playing for Melbourne around the same time who pronounced it "Ger-gick."

It's pronounced Iliya Gr-Gich. It's Croatian. Most of them after a while have added "h" at the end to make it easier to pronounce [Pavlich, Sumich, Jakovich, Gerovich, Grljusich, Kekovich...]
Some others refused because it would hurt their family pride. Grgic must be one of them, so is that young fella Maric.
BTW, Didak is also Croatian and is pronounced Dee-duck.
