Gaff could of booted someone in the head lying on the ground, this was a swing at someone stopping his run. Was an accident as far as where he hit Brayshaw, the swing was deliberate no doubt but my feeling is that Gaff was either going for the arm or chest area and struck the jaw instead.

I've taken way bigger hits to the jaw from Maori's with legs the size of Gaff and not gone down, jaw still intact. The real issue is no more 18 year olds playing with the men. Keep them in a league where they can be protected because quite clearly they can't in the current situation and if the senior battle hardened AFL players have to keep thinking about not hurting a kid then we will see a lesser competition emerge.
