And for those who taped on Foxtel (is that the right word these days), you veprobably been able to pick out some of the problems. I for one am always interested how we all blame our pet hates and disregard our most loved players from the pros and cons each week.

So i decided to sit with my wife and watch the second quarter; the only real quarter where we fell away, in order to place blame.

As an overarching comment, Russell was clearly panicked by Le Cras in the first half and stopped watching the ball. Also we kept on kicking to Betts as a leading forward, rightly or wrongly. Finally, Hampson would have spoiled 5 clear marks to Carlton players as he continually tries to learn how to mark. Anyway:

Goal 1 - Clear poor error to Walker, who received from Armfield, with time, delayed, did a stupid handball that went to the opposition. Fault - WALKER.

Goal 2 - Johnson / Russell lost a 2 on 2 due to a pretty weak effort from Russell. Fault - RUSSELL

Goal 3 - Free to Cox in the ruck, handballed to Lynch, good kick to Le Cras in a sort of 1 on 1 with Bower coming in late (50m)

Goal 4 - Judd panicked kick and didnt stay to defend when Waters passed to Kennedy, who kicked.

Goal 5 - Jamison gets the blame for a shonky kick but Walker attacked too hard when he had a few metres. Still the fault is with Jamison but I think Walker made it look worse than it was. Fault - JAMISON.

I think we made too many errors but otherwise werent out of the game by any stretch - we had the ball but turned it over

Which brings me to Collingwood who will scorch us for turnovers.
