Enjoyed it much more than last weeks episode.

Good to see Joffrey get a bit of extra time to show us what a prick he is.

And Dany, great to see them again. I thought the best we were going to get was the areolas floating on water level but they delivered.

Everything is getting real, now for the Arya story to just develop. I loved Arya early on and look forward to her owning again at some stage.

Holy ****! Awesome finish to the episode.

I am seriously hoping for bloody leech magic to sort Joffrey out quick smart, but don't have much confidence.

I love that it was the same white walker from last season's finale that tracked down Sam. And for some reason, it still refuses to flat out kill the fat boy. Piss weak zombies.

Great episode but a lack of battle was kinda disappointing.

Trying to pass Sansa off as 14 is meh. I guess it's not as bad as 20 somethings playing high school students in pretty much every high school drama.

Loved the look Tyrion gave to Shae after she checked the sheets.

Cersei was in full bitch mode to both Tyrell siblings. I think she'll be happier once Jaime gets back.

No Fray wedding, no Jon Snow, no Greyjoy, no Kingslayer. Just way too many stories going at once to put them all in the one episode.

I'm wondering when things actually come together. Surely it can't be this fractured forever?

So Sam's special blade he found (forgot where) can slay Whitewalkers. Interesting. He seemed to drop it in fear and forgot to pick it up before running away. Way to go.

It shattered when he stabbed the white walker my friend.

The White Walkers aren't zombies, your thinking of the things that Jon killed in season 1.

Don't think so, it was clearly lying on the ground?

Sam is just a ****ing spazz.

Enjoyed the episode - nicer to have few arcs, but better development of them.

Always good when Khalesi gets them out too - even if she's better as a brunette.

Pretty certain it shattered when the WW evaporated, I guess there will be footage around somewhere of the encounter?

Yeah this season is suffering a little from all the extra characters and storylines.

Having said that I've still enjoyed every ep, it's just that we don't get to see as much of each character as I'd like.

So they're not the same thing?

I thought anyone who got killed by a white walker turned into one?

Different. The WW control them somewhat, later on in the series it speculates how people become wights so I'll stop there.

But yeah they're very different the WW aren't humans, there an enigmatic "species", and obviously the main threat to the realm while the 4 kings are ****ing around deciding who should sit on the Iron Throne.

Hope this helps.

Marlowe hope this explains better than what my previous post did.

Someone good with photos can probably get a photo comparing the two.

A photo of the Wights/Zombies that Jon kills
And a photo of the WW leading the "Army" at the finale of last season

Watching the show, I get the impulse to refer to them as zombies. They have been "sleeping" for quite a while; they definitely feel like zombies. :)
