What exactly did the leeches that Melisandre burnt do? Anyone got any theories?

I was expecting some vision or something for Stannis to see - maybe a way they would die etc.

it will be interesting because Robb looks set to attack Casterly Rock soon, so if something bad was going to happen to him that would be a prime opportunity.

I don't want Joffery to die, he is such a little prick and all his scenes are so enjoyable. Maybe Jaime will take up his role as Kingslayer again. That would be awesome

Trying to pass Sansa off as 14 is meh. I guess it's not as bad as 20 somethings playing high school students in pretty much every high school drama.

Not much other choice. You'd need a phenomenal 14 year old actor to play her part, not to mention some of her scenes would be even more distasteful than they already are if she was played by an actual 14 year old.

I'm wondering when things actually come together. Surely it can't be this fractured forever?

It kinda is (this fractured forever). There's crossover and characters spending time together that you wouldn't expect, but there's always multiple plotlines.

Count me as another one who's had enough of Sam, what a waste of screen time he is. Even in the awesome last scene tonight with the WW we had burn about 5 minutes just to get the good stuff when the whole scene could have been done in 3 or 4. That fire lighting/baby name discussion with Gilly was farking painful and it went on forever - I just do. not. care.

Other than that another solid ep.

When Khaleesi got out of the bath i was waiting for a cow bell like 'ding' from bad teeth Fabio's downstairs armour. Someone said she wasn't going to get naked again. Thank fk they were wrong.

Just when i think Samwise had turned a corner he runs away and leaves the only weapon he had lying in the snow.

Gonna be nice (if it eventuates) to see Arya meet back up with Rob/Her mum. Disappointed we haven't seen any of her awesome sword fighting skills yet.

I thought the whole episode was great, especially the scene when Dany meets the captain and Jorah goes full defense mode. It's like watching alpha against beta

Surely it can't be long until his fear of / respect for his grandfather will dissipate enough that even that won't reel him in. I have a very uneasy feeling that Tyrion might die soon. We all know they aren't afraid to kill off favourite characters.

Loved the whole episode, even the "boring" chatty bits like Sam, Girl and the baby... And parts of the wedding etc. The give some space and "breathers" between the great scenes.

Now just trying to pick the climax for the series... Fight at castle black, fight at Casterly Rock or Dany's army seiging that city... Or the royal wedding... Or everything together.

Remember that the next two episodes aren't the end of season 3, only half way if that makes sense? As they have split up season 3 into two parts.

Joffrey deserves it the most but he's also the only one with the power to have me tortured for the rest of my miserable life in retribution. Since I'm craven I won't pick him.

Pickering I can avoid if I want, but Waterhouse infests my tv every time I watch sport whether I like it or not, so I choose him. He's already torturing me anyway.
