The reasoning is simple. Sicily looks like he is out, try and expose them in height.

I'm not sure it's a great idea though. As you said it will hurt our ability at ground level. Hope the move doesn't last long

We already are exposing them for height no need to go taller and with 3 our ability to apply pressure is compromised.

It’s a brain dead coaching move

You couldn’t stretch them for height with our 3 gun key forwards?

I agree but it's clearly the thought process.

Budget four headed monster

Imagine picking a structure and giving up on it 15 minutes into the first quarter.

Poor Khamis. JOD shouldn’t have played this game.
What game are you watching!!!! JOD has been significantly better than Khamis

We seriously miss West this game. They are tough campaigners under Mitchell and his toughness is soundly needed.

our defensive effort was shocking. Beyond bad. Some of the efforts from Dale in particular, or English’s lack of effort to defend can’t be let go by the coach surely.

Blistering start against a team low on confidence and then let them back in it.

Absolutely put the cue in the rack after 5 minutes of great football.

Effort and decision making laughable, supported by one of the dumbest coaching move you would see
Khamis has been terrible down back, the rest yes you are correct

Not letting the players off as their effort and skill and decision making has been abysmal.

But dead set the dumbest coaching move I have seen and this is the same bloke that thought Lobb to full back was a feasible move.

Rather than keep Darcy, Naughton and JUH forward and get them to isolate the mismatch with Sicily off, instead we throw another tall up there and try 4 talls all occupying the same space and lose all pressure at ground level allowing the hawks to transition even easier than they were

It’s damning how unsurprising it is for us to be pathetic against poor opposition that have a proper crack.

One of the biggest issues with the current footy administration/coaching group is how predictable that is. It’s alarming how the team never seem to be “up” for these games.

Talent will get this done in the end, but with an 18-0 start against an injury-affected bottom four team most good sides would be up by 4-6 goals at QT. That we need a goal after the siren to regain the lead is pathetic.

Ed Richards only one disposal?
