Hahaha strange post but got the idea.

Was thinking the exact same thing. The reason everyone loved Mick was because he was hard as nails.

Now he's like a big teddy bear, generous grandad, hug-a-lot wise man who looks on the verge of tears whenever he talks about a player.

Zzzzzz.
Just trying to mix it up a little, BF can be a little boring sometimes agree.

Good grinding win. Well done.

That big number 20 bastard was the difference again.

I expect we will be meeting in september sooner rather than later.
I am pleasantly surprised by your appearance. Well played.

Great football played by the Roos in the first half, but it is a hard intensity to maintain and WC finally changed things up as well.

Both teams were excellent in patches, won't mention the umpiring for either side....

Mmmmm I will mention the AFL website though again highlighting WC and free kicks.

Video along the lines of did umpires miss a match winning free? Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

Why did we not get the same in the game v Collingwood?

Why pick Thomas's free and not the missed free to Darling. Tired of this biased, sensationalistic bullshit.

Great comeback by the team

Need to adapt to conditions better as it reminded me of the Brisbane game which was also soft underfoot. In both games we looked like were running in treacle in the first half.

Fortunately we got over the line in this one.

Agreed, defiantly need to address our poor form on slippery grounds, maybe training on hockey turf could help fix this problem? Would be worth looking into.

Not from everyone. Yep disappointing to lose but I thought North were very brave in the face of a big and strong side who will feature well into September. And we are now showing enough to think we will be OK in the next year or 2.
Yeah fair call thought North were good today and probably deserved to win. Shown some good form lately and improving rapidly.

mcginnity is constantly punching above his weight. works hard to try and make a difference but too often has little-to-negative impact. not showing enough lately.

Got to Claremont Oval having turned the Eagles off at half time, thinking they lost. Claremont were 4 goals to nil, I was thinking, well this is a wasted day of footy and then someone at Claremont tells me the Eagles one! At least saved half of my footy day :) because Swans were CRAP.

It must have been the loud WestCoast chant from the tigers supporters at 3 quarter time at the G that go you guys over the line. It was very funny

How was Swift though?

He's looking more and more like a good inside mid who struggles a little in space. Work inside the packs was pretty good, but, let's be honest, they didn't have much competition today.

I think your coach is to be commended for getting the side back in the game.

You were playing standard Subi style football in the first half and we were handling the conditions better with our pressuring of the eagles ball carrier and our running players getting in the game on the counter punch and causing the eagles problems.

After half time you tended to kick the ball more and get it deep and quick in to your forward line which resulted in your talls having more impact and our half back run dissolving. Goldy went down, then the rucks, Kerr and Priddis slowly gathered momentum and ground us down.

You guys had a plan B. We didn't.

I'm happy with the effort. We're improving.

Copy and paste mick malthouse comments after half time. Maybe come up with your own material mate. Come on here and try to be civil after talking shit for the last god knows how long, liked that thread you made about nic nat no stat, he towelled your mob up today and was crucial in the second half .

Loved the 2nd half performance. The 2nd half of the 2nd quarter suggested we were still in it. I was confident that if we tightened up that we could out score them at a rate of one goal every half a quarter. Some of the decision making in the last 10 minutes was bad for the heart, though.

Our WC mod jumped ship at half time? Bad form.

I was never on the ship today, junior footy until 12:30, then out to Claremont to watch a shellacking of all shellackings. Wish I had jumped ship there. :(
You think? Just wait til we release the Majak.......
I've been waiting 3 years. ;)

Don't get confused with the idea that Majak is a pure ruckman.

He's a forward that can pinch hit in the ruck.
