Not surprisingly given his injury he looks like his dropped about 4kg but the preseason will soon sort that out

Came directly from a taxi driver, who heard it from another passenger, who heard it from a Gold Coast meter maid, who overheard two board riders mention it while sniffing something.

The surgeon is the same one who did Shane Warne's shoulder. After which rumours abounded that Warnie would never bowl again. Seems he did and quite well too.

Almost an irrelevancy if he had torn the biceps. It can be reattached or he's left with a Popeye appearing shoulder.
The more anchors, the better the fixation, the stiffer the shoulder.
He has oodles of time for healing.

But unfortunately it looks like the end is now for Gaz if the reports are true that are going around, no smoke without fire as they say. Gold Coast or Gaz cant complain he gave good service for the money they paid, and he was paid very well

Find it astounding how bad some people want these rumours to be true. All reported by nobody journalists despite confirmation all is on schedule from Gary, the club and it's medical team. How sad can you get.

I for one don't want it to be true at all, but i wont bury my head in the sand and ignore that their are major issues with the shoulder. I dont want him going out their just for the sake of the GCFC and running out his career on a bum note, remember him for the player he was, and not as a shadow of his former self.

Really. How would you know there are major issues? Excluding media scuttlebutt of course.

He had the customary post-op work done on the shoulder. Which apparently went well and he is on course to start training later this month.

On the radio a few days ago, Doc Larkins was on there explaining what 'frozen shoulder' is and was mid-way through explaining that it's completely normal and doesn't impact on overall recovery and that it's prevalent in 20% of reconstructions, and the ENTIRE TIME, the dickhead hosts kept talking about the possibility of Gary having to retire, permanent damage, end to his career, not going to play in 2015, etc. The whole time, Larkins was telling them that what they're saying isn't true, but the hosts weren't interested in listening.

It's in the media's best interest for Gary to have complications. It's been refuted so many times that it's ****ing ridiculous that it keeps popping up. He even uploaded a video of himself juggling, then made his first tweet in months confirming his fitness.

Don't count all opposition fans in there. Nothing like watching Ablett in full flight. As a teen I loved watching his old man just as much. As an AFL fan, I just love watching such a pure clean champion. No matter how much you want to hate him (other greats such as Lloyd gave me an easy reason to hate them!) you just can't. Seems like a really decent bloke. To be as good as he has been, and still is for so long, gee, he's got to be up there in the best ever. I admit to hating geeeelong with a passion, so my heart sang when he left, and I didn't have to hide my love anymore!!

Other champs come and go, to be so good for so long..... WOW. I'll shed a few tears when he's gone, let's hope that's not anytime soon.
