Game Day Gather Round 2023

We do need to make sure we get the catering correct at Norwood. I suspect there will be a lot of whinging if supporter are in beer and food lines for too long. Norwood is not friendly to any sort of crowd. Toilet facilities will be stretched.
Yianni's Yiros just down the road will be doing a good trade. The 24/7 bakery also.

You can’t deny that a big reason why this gather round has such a buzz is because the Crows are up and about. If we were 0-4, I can’t imagine the same positivity as we currently have.

While Malinauskas is basking in the glory of this weekend, he’d be wise to remember that next time we need a hand on our new home at Thebarton.

Does really demonstrate how we are the big boys in the state and Port are still minnows.

I like that we're excited about getting to see 3-5 matches on one weekend.

That's every week in Melbourne. There is zero reason they ever need Gather Round over there.

I expect we'll build it and then it will be off to Queensland or Sydney.

No reason something like this couldn't be locked in here every year.

SA Government could promise to upgrade a stadium or something and lock it in until 2057.

I'm amazed by the amount of crows season ticket holders who didn't realise they had to get a special ticket for this game, they're all just realising it now.

The worst part is the ticket would have been free is they weren't living under a rock in December.... Or even the few months after.

I actually think it isn't going to be a normal crows home game I think they'll be way more neutrals and Carlton fans than normal.

We're lucky enough to experience the long wait times at AO for beer and food, the patrons heading to Norwood shouldn't miss out.

Just watch The Front Bar. Been a Crows love in so far. Hinkley on after the break just to twist the knife even more. Wonder if the crowd will boo him.
Crows supporters should cheer him! ;)

This concerns me a bit with getting in tomorrow night.

Members rocking up with their pass hoping to get through. Causing congestion at the gate.

Could tell Mods was embarrassed to talk himself up on the front bar haha, actually quite a very modest guy.
One of the many things that makes him such an enigma is how much of a down to earth humble bloke he remains, particularly given his insane level of celebrity in the early to mid 90s.

It was pretty heavily advertised when tickets first went on sale and I've had a few reminder texts since to make it clear that you need to get a separate ticket

"I pay good money for my season ticket to support the boys!!"

I hope tonight is a finals like atmosphere.

Hostile, loud, 1-sided.

To paraphrase Eminem!

Will the real Izak Rankine, please stand up!

Already expecting some to rock up with their regular membership. Good thing I got my exact same seat for this game back in December.

Wasnt going to go to any games but $15 a ticket for the swans v tigers was a good deal so i will go to that. i went on average 10 games every year from 1991-2017 with my crows membership but since 2018 only been 3 times. just isnt what it is anymore. i had it easy i guess with Football park 5 mins down the road lol
looking forward to being a neutral with no stress tomorrow night.
