That logo looks likes shite. What is with the pansy looking font? They could have at least given a sharper looking edge to the 'suns' font.

BTW, wtf is with the random lip on the end of the letters 'u' and 'n'? Am i missing something here, what the heck is this supposed to represent?

I'm not a Gold Coast 'Suns' fan & thank god I'm not, because that strip isn't inspiring in the slightest.

It might seem like I'm poking fun but I'm not - being a designer by trade I set myself a challenge of designing a (subjectively) better jumper design in 15 mins. I came up with 10 options (some of them are pretty ugly 1 of them (I think) is hilarious)

But any of them would be a better balanced, more classically inspiring jumper than the modern day farce the GC FC have ran with.

thoughts?

ps. it might be worth noting that yes... I decided not to use the GC logo (which I think is horrible) but a good footy jumper (in my opinion) should be simplistic & be able to be knitted by your grandma... she's going to go blind trying to get the typeface right in that GC logo..

Most of them could be in the final nominees for the Macedonian national jumper.

Only this 1935 jumper is "before Eagles" (1987).

Introduced 1989, 1995, 1996 and 1997 respectively. Hawks and Pies jumpers were preseason and Carlton was a promotional strip for 1 game - hardly think these would be considered serious long-term jumpers.

Yes we came in in 1987 but our first fail jumper was in 2000, before all of those jumpers.

Doesnt matter if they were worn for ever or just a quarter, they were all worn before us so we werent the first.

Quite like the away jumper and clash jumper
Logo could be a tad better, the suns isnt a bad name
marlins is a crap name, guards crap too
The song is actually pretty good IMO

If the Swans play the Gold Coast and Gold coast are at home, will that mean the gold coast will have to wear there clash strip because the swans don't have a clash/away jumper (both are mainly red) or will Sydney this year will have to design a clash jumper?

Any ideas?
