bannockburn only have lost tmg and as far as im concerned thats a gain, some of the other forwrds might get a go now. bannock will finish in finals and are going to be succesful once again and feel free to quote me on this later on. inverleigh havent done much over pre season, no pickups i think they have reached the best they will get. prob wont make finals.
Will Banno be affected by the closing of Steggles do you think? Shorter money supplies in years to come?

as much as i hate to say it, it would not be a gain. they may have other forwards but i dont believe any would half reciprocate what tmg did for there forward line, carried them by himself and once he was out of the picture the team fell apart. he might be a loser off the field but he can play full forward and kick goals

Surely not. The boy played at Belmont a couple of years ago in the 2s then went to Simpson. Came back at the start of this year, played a couple of games then got dropped (2s again) and went back to Simpson. I like the young fella and coached him, but he couldn't get a game in Belmonts 1s pre Haami when we were really struggling. Couldn't see Scratcher or Fop handing over $120 a week of the clubs hard earned for an occassional 2s player.

Seen him play and is just a handy 2's player

isnt it funny how some people think they know wot there talkin bout but really hav no idea, im sure inva hav signed new players but only people inside the club would know about. u got nothing 2 do with inva, but u think u know wots goin on there. season doesnt start 4 4.5 months there will be alot of players movements goin on from now on. unless banno pick up some players they wont make finals, tmg massive loss. get ya facts right b4 ya start running ya mouth. inva r a young team and will improve alot next year regardless of recruits

Heard today that Woods,Watts(both) and Hickelton are looking at GFL. With North Shore being in the front running as they have ties with an ex coach who is still involved there. Would be a very good get for the Seagulls big loss for the Tigers.

Re: Geelong and District Football League 2

This is big news, he might steal some Winch players. I think Paul Price might have another year where he just doesnt quite make finals...

i dont think he will target winch players i think he will target the players he took 2 winch like reid, kitchen and hardingham.

Yeah target the X winch boys and maybe some of the older boys. But he would be silly as those players havent got him into a final series before...

No truth in that at all KOSMOS, all will be playing with the Tiges next year.

Re: Geelong and District Football League 2

i dont think he will target winch players i think he will target the players he took 2 winch like reid, kitchen and hardingham.

he will try but no one at winch or ex winch will go with him, why would reid leave a premiership team to play at blue west, and kitchen would be back at winch before he went to west...

Not sure reid will be playing this year at all. Didn't he do his knee playing basketball the other day. As for Kitch, most likely to stay at Werribee. If Winch has a chance it's a bloody small one. Love to have em' both back though. Good start to pre season tonight. 32 players. At least the balls rolling. Some good yound types with enthusiasm. There is light..................

Ha ha someone's pulling your chain mate cause I know these boys and some other of the Bannock boys and thats far from the truth. In regards to your something new...Hickleton went to Leopold start of last year and came back during the year, Woods has been at GWSP before and he and his Mrs are involved at the club. Matt wasn't happy he missed a few games towards the end of the year but as a first year player thats to be expected. As previously stated they'll be with the Tiges next year.

Heard Digger Ryan missed out on the Ressies coaching job at the Hill after they made it to the GF this year. Tough call on him.

He missed out because he didn't formally apply for it. The job was up and if he told them he wanted it, he probably would have got it. Somebloke from East, I think it is Gemmill (something like that), got the job. As for the Banno boys, they will be staying put. As stated, Woodsys had a crack and while he acquitted himself brilliantly to GFL, just enjoys Banno too much, Happy Hickleton can play but has the heart the size of a dick in iced water. Young Matty will be better for the character building time in the twos. Brad Watts has had a bit of surgery over the last few months, and I'm led to believe the crutches are more to do with some male/female defining procedures, rather than a dodgy ankle!!!:D
