Interleague is a going ahead in 2008 take my word for it. It was to be played at Winch but as the ground will not be in use for the first 7 rounds it may be shifted. 19 Man get your information right bud the league is almost debt free which is outstanding. Any other news on pre season? Other than Corio. Hear Glen Keast is at Thomson taking a few Seagulls with him. Also Justin Tate to BPH we will be welcome as they have lost Bowyer and Hemly.

I hope interleague goes ahead but very bad choice in Paul price he hasnt been picked as a player to play interleague let alone beable to coach a interleague side wen you look whos in the league now williams, otoole, wallace, nichols, shorly they are leaps and bounds ahead of pricey sorry gdfl bad choice. Theres been alot of talk about tate to corio or bph so we will wait and see who he trains with come febuary, i know he wants to try and win a flag before he retires and you would think corio are ahead of bph in that race, corio beat bph last year and corio have got stronger and hill weaker so i wouldnt be suprised to see him in red and white next season but only time will tell.

im with you hitman, nothing wrong with paul price as coach for gdfl side... sounds to me like kooley is the joke!!

Totally agree how can they appoint Paul Price he was never even good enough to get a game in the interleague when he was playing now your asking him to coach Williams, O'Toole, Stewart,Nicholls and Wallace wat a joke

I always gathered you as a conservative so on this ocassion i will i ignore your foolhardy.

if the GDFL are going to go to all the trouble of running an interleague game then why don't they get someone a little more high profile than Paul Price?

I recently heard from one of my Belmont sources, that Belmont are chasing some Winchelsea players. I couldn't get any names from him, but i heard it was a couple of on ballers.

if thats true do you think paul price would take the job.
he spent a year (99) with us at thompson and was very good, alot of nth geel players say he played a big part in winning 02 flag. gdfl looking for a coach not tied to any club , heard they tried darryl bisset but wasnt really interested. cant be to hard to coach the best of the best thow.

It seems a few people are wanting too know about the Winchelsea players. I will do a list of where most of them are going or thinking about going.

Craig Hardingham- Werribee Centrals
Anthony Kitchen- Not sure but won't be at Winch
Mark Harvey- Corio
Nathan Reid- Geelong ammos
Trent Mclure- Geelong ammos
Cam Mclure- Geelong ammos
Scott Donohue- Modewarre
Matthew Worland- Modewarre
Matthew Day- Belmont
Mark Harrison- Belmont
Blake Kelly- Overseas
Christian McFarlane- Retired
Hayden Stocks- Anglesea
Heath Hutchison- Lara

I was at the game and vilcins gave a few cheap shots to aitchy and come off 2nd best when tim got hold of him 1st and then chistian smith got him on the way down. heard the crack from the opposite goals. good enough to dish it, good enough to take it.

Nathan Reid has had more clubs than Greg Norman - are ammos trying to buy a premiership.

nice to know that aitchy needed two players to break someone's jaw for him.

With all these so called top players that are leaving Winch. Is it that Pricey cant coach? or maybe the players think a bit to highly of themselves. I reckon most of these guys would not even play seniors at clubs that have finished in the top 3 over the past few years. With a couple of exceptions. Ried and Worland.

Pricey isn't coaching Winch in 2008...so whether he can coach or not wouldn't be a factor in these departures...If I'm not mistaken Reid's had three clubs...Winch, South Barwon and Ammos...this'll be his second stint at Queen's Park.

You of all people should know that Aitchy was a ball player Kooley. End of story.
Not disputing that all, never saw the rubberman take a chaep shot at anyone but vilcins never deserved a broken jaw that afternoon. Not in the fashion it happened anyway.

Hey guys cant believe this Vilcins thing is still going but I am pretty sure he dropped Aitchy behind the play because he was sick of him beating him so it all comes back to that.......... If that not happens the next part of 40 blokes in an all in brawl doesnt take place. Broken jaw unfortunate but live by the sword u take what comes ur way. Vilcins probably has some reason to whinge but I must say neva have heard it.......

Kitchen- has kicked over a 100 goals in the league
McClure- a young gun who killed it this year
Kelly- 96 goals in a NSW league the year before last
Harrison- missed over a quarter of the season, but is a gun
Harvey- 5th in the league b&f and missed about 4 games

Hardingham as captain was a joke. Can only go on what i've seen when playing against them and watching some of their games. Kitch yes i agree is a good player. But most go missing against the top sides. This is why Winch have either under achieved or a just no good. When have they done any damage in september? With all these so called stars you would think they would of made the FINALS!!
