not a win as such. but it certainly didn't help Geelong's cause, which I guess is the next best thing
So for you the next best thing to a Hawthorn loss is a Geelong loss..? Heck, I would've thought you'd prefer to see your team win first. o_O

sure, winning is the desired outcome. but if that doesn't happen, contributing to Geelong's demise is satisfying.

this is of course with the benefit of hindsight. I don't think anyone really predicted another week off would trigger Geelong's players to enter holiday mode.

Thanks Lethality, allow me to comment on this putrid excuse for a list

Just because Hawkins would split you in half if you were ever unlucky enough to be r4ped by him doesn't mean he's obese

I don't know who's is a better effort.
Rioli for the mark, or the photographer for being good enough to get a shot of him doing something against the cats.
2008 GF- wing, game in the balance.
18 y.o Cyril vs 3 Dank fueled handbaggers.
If its not permanently burned into your psyche then Google it- 2008 Cyrils Tackle -

Rofl.

If you're going to go down that path at least do it with some accuracy.

Dank "fuelled us" (translation: supplied the quite legal drug actovegin) in 2009.

By the way, there is no way I'm putting the words "cyrils tackle" into Google.

The last thing I want to see is photos or clips of Bruce McAvaney giving dressing room wristies and gobbies to his favourite player while saying "you just get the feeling he's about ready to explode"

Geelong has produced 3 different Brownlow medalists in the past 9 years. Who knows what the future holds. A truly amazing feat given most other clubs in that time can't even produce one.

comprehension 101 :drunk:

were you educated at Deakin?
You said Geelong losing is the next best thing to Hawf losing. Hardly my university's fault if you can't express yourself properly now is it...

...so you were educated at Deakin?
Nope, but I understand why you're trying really hard to deflect from the point now. :)

I'm just trying to ascertain from where your lack of basic comprehension is derived. I never once remotely implied a Hawthorn loss as the preferable outcome, merely that with the benefit of hindsight, perhaps Geelong's qualifying final victory over Hawthorn contributed to their demise due to lack of continuity. I find Geelong's demise satisfying.

No but you said the next best thing to a hawf loss is a Geelong loss. Or are you now changing your mind..?

I think I understand where you're getting confused. In reply to your assertion that Hawthorn's qualifying loss was a "win" I stated it wasn't a win, however since it contributed to Geelong's ultimate failure it's "the next best thing."

Is that what you're referring to?
