Geelong and Hawthorn record monumentally embarrassing 170000 page shitfight thread - Part 3

Geelong Supporters - are they Victoria's dirty little secret?

  • Yes, thank goodness they're mostly confined to a single town.

  • Yes, out of sight & out of mind. We shun them and rightly so.

  • No, every state has a criminal underclass.

  • No, they're people too... poorly bred perhaps but that's not their fault.

Pretty sure they were gone when the redevelopment started last year.

So you don't know. Please find out.

LOL I can't believe they were ripping off their own fans.

What is your scumbag, pokie dependant rip off club of filth doing about it's complete reliance on pokie revenue?

About as much as yours. The AFL runs on pokies, if you don't like it, you don't like the game.

Club cats was knocked down last year and the pokies went with it.

Some honorable non scumbag clubs choose not to rip off pensioners and stupid people, others take advantage of them. Hawthorn being the most scumbag of them all.

Your club still has pokies, all they did was get rid of them at their home ground, which shouldn't have been allowed in the first place.

My pensioner BiL stopped going to Cats games after more than 50 years as a member when they started charging for seats.

This answer your question?? :D

They dont tackle much in Gaelic footy, he probably needs to learn if he is going to keep his spot, in the new non mediocre, tackling machine, that is Geelong V2.0

Being pretty harsh on a kid in his first season of afl at any level. Hawthorn would wish they had a kid good enough to get a senior game at such an early stage.

Pretty funny getting trash talk from supporters of a club full of youth spuds.

Another exciting debutante this week. We just keep finding gems.
There really is no actual evidence whatsoever that this kid is a "gem" though is there? In fact given Wells' recent trend to pick spuds (or is it that Chris Scott has NFI how to develop them?) this kid is far more likely to be another potato.

Geelong's match committee is displaying the club's typical arrogance by playing a first gamer & resting Lonergan -an ideal matchup for Dixon or Westhoff- for a tough encounter against a team playing superb football. It'll be quite comical to see this blow up in the Cats' face.

Boo hoo. He's being judged as an AFL player. If he's in the league and on the field, he's up for criticism.

Two in the side younger than him last week.

Lonergans form hasn't been great so we are giving him a break. That's because we trust our youth which is more than you can say for Clarko who keeps playing Gibson cos there's no replacement.
