Well they do have an axe to grind with the league as a whole for not giving them more than that old rust bucket Waverley when they really needed a place to call home...

To think the governing body only wanted a single dollar to offload that tin can shows how valuable it is so it's no wonder the HFC got angry after reading the fine print once the deal was done... :p

The old chestnut is the collective obsession. It's embarrassing for you guys that you've lost your shit over one player just because he was a young teenager who showed your lazy campaigners how it's done on Grand Final day.

There's no obsession with players on my part, in the past I studied the overrating of the overrated Bartel, but that puzzle has been solved now and I think people now realise that he is a hack.

I'm a realist, Hawks are no better a chance to win this year than a handful of other teams. Going back to back, 3 Peat is hard enough. There could easily be up to 6 teams that are as good as the Hawks This season.
If they manage it they would undisputed to be the greatest ever in the history of the sport.
Look at Geelong for an example, great team not able to back it up.
Reduced pre-seasons, perhaps lack of motivation and fatigue are all factors that make a B2B so hard. You only need to look at the Hawks start to 2015, and their at times inconsistent performances to gauge just how hard it is.
Hence why B2B wins, 3 Peats earn the title and recognition of Dynasty.

There's no need to be cynical about the perception we beat Geelong when it matters, we have a proven track record in that regard, and we showed it again in 2013.
